Escape to a spacious family friendly cabin with breathtaking views of the lake. Our welcoming property offers a host of amenities from a fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars to a clear and shallow lakefront perfect for endless hours of swimming and family fun. Start your day off with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise from our outdoor patio. Throughout your day enjoy the many yard games that are provided, swimming in the lake or taking the paddle boat , canoe or kayak's out for a peaceful cruise around the lake. If it's a rainy day or you need a break from the sun we provide several board games, cards, puzzles and other activities for inside fun. If you want to go out exploring, the town of Longville has their famous turtle races every Wednesday. It's a unique and entertaining event for both kids and adults. The town of Hackensack is a great place to access the Paul Bunyan Trail, a scenic multi-use trail that's perfect for biking, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Renting bikes and exploring the trail can be a wonderful family activity. A little further away, the town of Walker is known for its several dining options. The town is situated near beautiful lakes and natural scenery. In the evening, back at the cabin, gather around the fire pit for marshmallow roasting and storytelling. Whether you are looking for a relaxing family vacation or an adventurous getaway with friends, our lakeside oasis is the perfect destination. Build cherished memories as you relax by the lake, share stories around the fire pit, and create fun-filled days with a variety of activities.

Beautiful, clean, well-appointed cabin. The hosts thought of everything needed to make our stay one of our favorites! Everyone remarked how comfortable all the beds were! Nice clear lake, we caught several species of fish and enjoyed the outdoor deck listening to the loons. Excellent, kind hosts!! Excellent communication and fast responses to questions! 10/10!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this place. Very clean, had so many amenities, and the communication/check in and out was so easy! The water was so clear by the dock, the kids enjoyed swimming! We would love to come back!

Our stay was amazing! Keri was an excellent host with great communication. The cabin was exceptionally clean, had everything imaginable and more for our stay, and plenty of space for our family. We had great swimming for the kids, fishing all week, and were close enough to Walker, Hackensack, and Longville to do a variety of things with the kids. Keri goes above and beyond for her guests and we enjoyed our week on Blackwater Lake! Highly recommend their lake house getaway!

Girls Weekend

We absolutely loved the cabin! Everything was so clean and welcoming! Unfortunately we did not get to spend a lot of time at the cabin but the time we did spend was enjoyable. We would love to come back for an extended stay and play in the water. Looked like fishing may be good too so will have to try that next time. Went into town and tried Happy Pizza. Must say it is the best pizza we have ever had!

The site was wonderful for a vacation. The house was well supplied with extras that one would not expect. e.g. Many spices and kitchen staples. e'g'. The softest water for showers. THe walk to the dock was fairly flat so even a person walking using walker could walk onto the dock. Overall it is a great place to vacation.
