Highly recommend!

We stayed in Margas place for a week and it was so great. Sooo close to the beach. Coolers and chairs for us to use. Easy parking. Access to a gym and pool across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay near Poipu beach

This property was exactly as described and Marga was very easy to work with. The unit is clean and well appointed. It is a 2 minute walk from the beach ( no lifeguard), or a 5 minute drive to Poipu Beach which does have lifeguards. We loved having a leisurely breakfast every morning on the patio.underthe giant monkeypod tree.

Perfect Getaway Spot!

I spent 10 nights at Marga’s Kiahuna condo. I was there with my 2 adult children for a family reunion. The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed. It was located a short walk to the beach. I would definitely want to stay there again in the future if it’s available!

Great location in the jungle

#232 was just want we wanted; quiet location away from noisy roads and parking, but an easy wall to the parking place. The monumental tree beside the end of the building set the theme of a condo in the jungle. All the supplies were there. As experienced Kiahuna Plantation visitors, we found what we expected.

Spring Break in Poipu

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. Incredible location and well kept property grounds. Beach is walkable, gym is across the street, and restaurants are very close drive or walk.

Kiahuna Paradise

We have been going to Kiahuna for Christmas for the past 40 years and love it. This is a nice unit in a great location and is on paar with other comparable uKiahuna 1 bedroom units.

Great Stay in Poipu

"Under the Monkey Pod Tree" was an excellent place to stay for our 8 day visit to Poipu. The condo was very clean when we arrived and the bed was really comfortable. We fixed most of our meals and the kitchen was well equipped. Many nights we ate dinner out on the Lanai which felt quite private. The location is great with an easy walk to the beach and shops. We would definitely book this place again!

Plantation Paradise

We have stayed at the Kiahuna several time throughout the years. As always it is a gorgeous setting and the condo was fantastic. Guest services and the entire "Kiahuna Crew" were friendly, helpful; greeting you with a smile and aloha. Marga, our host, answered all questions promptly and offered friendly advice on restaurants and activities. We never stay anywhere else.

Great for family with one toddler and a 11/2 year old.

This unit was a great location, on the ground floor close to the parking area, which made it easy to transport things to and from the car. This is a very important location when you have two toddlers. The unit is well appointed, and the fold out bed worked perfectly for the toddler to sleep in. The property management delivered a crib for the younger one.

Kauai - August 2023

We absolutely loved our stay at this unit in Poipu! This unit was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful grounds, well maintained unit, the unit has the Koa kea and Marriott on the left, and Sheraton on the right. We had sunset drinks at all of the neighboring resorts, we even walked to the Beach House for dinner and drinks (it’s a decent walk, not many Ubers on the island). We found ourselves out hiking, snorkeling, and navigating most of the island throughout our time, how this unit is great to return for the night, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. I can’t say enough great things about this unit, and the property it’s within. We will be returning again!

Holidays at Kiahuna with Family

This Christmas was a repeat stay for our whole family of 11, from 18 months to 75. Our unit with Marga was Outrigger and two other units were with Castle. All one BR garden view. The overall campus is wonderful and well manicure.d. We watched glorious sunsets every night (we call it front row) either on the spacious lawns or the beach below. The pool is inconvenient and off property but we were here for ocean rather than pool so no issue. A few small maintenance problems arose but didn’t affect our enjoyment. Loved Kiahuna and our unit!

Lovely, well-appointed condo

The condo is beautiful, in great shape, and well-appointed. I wish I could get similar furniture for my home :) We immediately felt comfortable in the holiday condo where we stayed. Everything we needed was there or made available to us. The owner, Marga, was very responsive when I had questions about this or that. The only problem we had was upstairs guests with their children, and they sounded like elephants walking across the room seemingly without end. We called the "the elephants." Having said that, we became used to the noise, and we enjoyed the moments when they were out.

Grand Monkey Pod Tree

We've stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation many times. This end-unit is very nice and sits beneath a majestic monkey pod tree. My only two concerns has to do with the property management and in particular the house keeping staff. We accidentally left two umbrellas behind upon our departure and realized it a few days later. We returned to the property and ask the assistance of both the property management as well as the tenants who were occupying the unit. The current guests were most accomodative and helpful, and checked all of the drawers to see if they were there. The property management has had ample time to communicate with the housekeeper assigned to the room upon our departure in order to retrieve the items. Unfortunately, they have not been returned, which would have been nice because we have experienced some daily rain showers where they would have been useful. The cleaning fee is pretty hefty, it's unfortunate that the staff cannot be trusted. Additionally, there is a temporary electrical cord which has been suspended from the tree and draped across the upstairs railing with caution tape. It's an eyesore, and it's been there since the last time we stayed in this building in 2019.

Mostly great…

TLDR: the place is beautiful, clean, and centrally-located. Check-in was a breeze and communication was great. The noise and lack of basic items in the kitchen would lead me to look elsewhere next time. Pros: the space is lovely, functional, and very close to the beach and parking lot. The bed was comfortable and the mid-stay linen change was really nice. Cons: it was very loud. I still gave 4 stars because this was out of the owner’s control, but it was more than an inconvenience. The windows are louvered and I know that means more outside noise, but we’ve stayed at Kiahuna before (this was the 3rd unit we’ve stayed in) and have never had this issue. Some of it may have been the proximity to the parking lot and generally more foot traffic, but unfortunately most of it was our neighboring guests. I have no way of knowing who is an owner and who is renting, so thought it was worth noting. Small con: while the kitchen had a great supply of utensils, etc., it was lacking some basics I’d expect. There wasn't even salt and pepper, just a bag with takeout-sized packets. As someone who likes to cook, this was a bummer.

Perfect location

Wonderful, large, 1BR apartment, short walk from the beach and multiple dining options. Clean and bright, with lovely grounds. Full kitchen facilities. Pick up some groceries, park your car, and settle in for a great vacation. Surfing, swimming, and sunsets just steps away. Communication with owner was great, with helpful tips for our stay. Couldn't be happier.
