I wish I could say that the place was as advertised, as it looked so inviting, but it wasn't. These people have some nerve charging more than 500 per night for a place where half of it (the studio in the back) is unusable because of the strong mildew/mold smell, lack of hot water, and electricity going out multiple times. Looking back on it, it seems that that part of the rental hadn't been used for a long time, which explains why the bedding in there smelled musty, and the drawers and cabinets emitted a strong odor of mold. After the weekend we wrote to the management company to give them detailed feedback. No offer of any partial refund, of course. Instead, their only remark was that we should have contacted them during the weekend. Why should we have? There's no way they could have done anything about the mold/mildew smell, or the extreme chlorine smell in the hot tub. The main house is nice, with some little hiccups like weird locks that are hard to use. There is a paucity of rentals in the area, so they probably have no trouble renting it, but I'd look elsewhere.
