Anniversary getaway

Tucked away enough to feel alone, but not so far as to feel uneasy. A wonderful little place in the mountains. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Very nice place to stay. A few minor things that keeps this from being a 5 star stay. More of a 4.25 rating. Would stay there again if traveling that route again.

Perfect weekend getaway

The “Cabin” was the perfect weekend escape. Being out in nature, while enjoying the creek and amenities the cabin offered was exactly what we needed. The hosts, Jon & Lisa were responsive and made every part of booking this property seemless. We look forward to returning in the future.

Zen environment

The cabin was perfect for us because it's not too far from Reno but far enough. There is so much to see and do within 30 mins. Cabin is perfect for 2 or 3 people.

Great little Cottage by the Oak Creek, Cozy Comfort

Totally love the feel of this cottage by the Creek. Love the cozy comfort of the bed & the little extras; Great experience and pet friendly, which was available in the cottage and this worked out great for us. Very clean, easy access, and the communication/directions were easy to follow!

Two nights in Paradise

We stayed in the cabin and it was perfect! The creek was flowing and refreshing. The property is beautiful and peaceful. We had so much fun and our dog loved it too. We are definitely coming back. Jon, the host was great to work with!!!

Secluded, Serenity & Relaxing

We had a wedding to attend just down the road, it was secluded and quiet. It made for a wonderful place to get away from the hussel and bussel! The babbeling creek was relaxing and we watched a deer come down for its morning drink. Jon was quick to respond and very helpful. We would stay again if in the area.

Thanksgiving at The Cabin at Gold Run

Our stay was wonderful! The Cabin was perfect- beautiful cozy Creekside location in the quiet serene forest. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen had just what we needed, large bathroom. It’s close to family, we definitely look forward to staying there again! Only small drawback was the “smart” thermostat was smarter than us. But we made it work. Thank you!!!!

My son and I loved this little cabin on the creek. We had just finished a 14 hour drive and so were happy to finally be there. Everything on a small scale, but we had all we needed to heat up two frozen dinners and have perfect sleep. The king sized bed was soooo comfy!!! My son slept very well in the loft. In the morning we enjoyed the creek and surroundings. Communication with Jon was great. Perfect stay...Thank You!!

Peaceful Getaway

We had such a lovely time. The property was a peaceful tranquil oasis, exactly what we needed to unwind and connect with nature. I can just sit and listen to the flowing stream forever. The cabin was bigger than I expected and they had everything you would need for cooking. They even had board games, puzzles, books, and movies stocked on the bookshelf. I really appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness of the cabin. We look forward to our next visit.
