The sounds of nature will be music to your ears in the summer months and the fireflies will dance through the night sky. This welcoming oasis is only 15 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood and is the perfect place to stay when traveling to attend your soldiers basic training graduation or visit for family day. Looking to visit the Lake of the Ozarks? No problem! Our home is only a short 45 minute drive away! If kayaking is one of your passions, the Gasconade River is only 12 minutes away. Small hiccup when we arrived but host was very quick to respond and everything taken care of immediately. The house and outside was clean with plenty of dishes for our group and appropriate cookware. We loved how quiet the area was and the pond was a big hit. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay with a large group! Our family all fit comfortably here and enjoyed our time spent together around meals and games and relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. This place could be a destination in and of itself if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable, and relaxing getaway for a large family.

Beautiful clean home perfect for a bigger group. The kids loved the fish pond and that was a daily visit. Very quiet location in a beautiful area. Host was absolutely amazing and easy to communicate with! My kiddos usually have a hard time adjusting to being away from home but it was so much like home, cozy and welcoming, bed time was a breeze!

Owner was very nice and made sure everything was perfect for us. We wish all VRBO properties were this nice and clean with an owner who truly loves the property as much as this one. Perfect location for those visiting Army FLW. Close enough to everything, but far enough for peace and quiet. If we ever need to return to the area, we would stay here again!

We celebrated our 4th of July family vacation (10 people) at the Cozy Cabin. It was perfect for a family of our size with dogs. Very clean, accommodating for dogs with crates provided, as well as kids with a highchair and packnplay! We enjoyed evenings on the front porch together playing with the corn hole boards and doing sparklers, and our kids LOVED feeding the big catfish in the pond! The cabin itself is beautiful, with cute details in the design and decorating, and it never felt cramped. The hot water never gave out, which is such a plus, and it had everything we could need as far as dishes/pans/fans in rooms. The cabin is in a great location, we visited Fort Leornard Wood for fireworks, and Tiger Typhoon, both were short trips. All of the neighbors were nice, while the cabin also feels private! Vanessa was an absolutely amazing host, with a wonderful response time and kindness in every message. We all agreed we would love to stay again!!

The cabin was fantastic! Such a great place for a soldier to relax on Family Day!! Definitely would recommend staying here! The host goes above and beyond!!

The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. The bedrooms were very roomy and the beds were comfortable. We stayed at the cabin for our family’s spring break and our family very much enjoyed the stay. Feeding the fish at the pond was an absolute highlight. Vanessa was wonderful. She was always very responsive. The check-in and checkout process were very easy.

Vanessa was awesome and the amenities were great! Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed making this our home away from home to spend time with our grandsons for Thanksgiving. Ideal for families visiting their loved ones at FLW.

Staying at this property was a dream from beginning to end! The property is beautiful and easily fit our big family without us feeling like we were on top of each other. It’s only a 15 minute drive to base, which made it so easy to go back and forth. We were able to bring our son back to the house and BBQ and spend really good quality time together. My kids were fascinated with feeding the fish in the pond and had so much fun with it. Communication with Vanessa was so easy, and she’s the best host we’ve had out of all the properties we’ve stayed at. We had to change things a few times due to my son’s schedule with the military and she completely understood and worked with us. She’s amazing. I can’t rave about this place enough and if we ever end up back in Missouri, this is where we’ll be staying!

We had a great stay! We were attending our son’s graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. This was the perfect location since it is close to the base. We were able to relax with our soldier on family day. It was so peaceful and felt like home. The host was great and provided everything we needed. We have stayed at several vacation rentals and this was one of the best experiences.

This was a great place to stay. Perfect for our large family. Check-in was very simple and owner was easily accessible. We came down to visit with my son at fort Lenardwood. It was the perfect distance. Highly recommend this property.
