The cabin was perfect. We wanted a place that was private and away from everything and the cabin definitely delivered. The creek was nice and the wildlife was abundant.

House and setting were both great! Owners thought of every detail to make this place comfortable to stay in. From providing clean candles to burn throughout the house to having a very short check out list- like super short. Will definitely try to stay here again!

Drive way is a little tight, but overall it was a peaceful serene stay. Saw eagles and deers that were friendly. House is spacious and a true gem. Fire pit is great for those cold nights.

We stay here every year and it is just the best! Laura is super easy to communicated with, everything is clean, and our dog loves it. Just a gorgeous, relaxing property in nature. Thanks again for a wonderful visit!!

Very much enjoyed our stay. The location next to the creek is just ideal. No need for a sound machine here!!! What we loved most was how dog friendly the property was.

The sound of the river rushing along the cabin was a highlight of this property. Also a very nice natural rock seating area and fire pit next to the river was wonderful.

Laura is a super responsive host and very gracious. The home and property are beautiful even in the rain. We especially enjoyed the spacious screen porch.The drive in is very curvy if anyone has issues with getting car sick this drive may cause it to happen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was organized and there was a lot provided (games, telescope, local information, etc). The trail essentially begins at the cabin, so it's very convenient to wake up and start your hike. The fire pit is beautiful and right at the creek. Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful spot in the woods!

We had a wonderful stay in Marshall! The property was clean, check in easy, and the creek was so relaxing. We really loved the screened in porch too, highly recommend!!

The property was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. It had everything we could have needed and everything was clean and well organized. The location was everything we could have asked for with being close enough to the mountain things we were hoping to do but also accessible to general goods and items we needed for our stay. We are hoping to book this same site again in the future at the request of our daughter who absolutely loved it!

Peaceful and remote

Had a great stay here. House was clean and well-supplied with everything I needed. Beautiful property in a secluded area. Firepit by the water was terrific. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The house was beautiful and quiet, the beds were comfortable. There are really pretty hikes 20-30 minutes from the house but expect long drive to get anywhere. The room with the 2 twin beds is accessed by a latter that is a little wobbly. Overall a very nice place.

Gorgeous, peaceful, and well-appointed. The home is delightful - even our anxious dog enjoyed some blissful naps on the porch. Our kids had a blast fishing in the creek even though the trout weren’t biting.
