This is a cute little apartment in the cutest little town. It is such a quiet spot to stay. We enjoyed how close it was to everything. We enjoyed our stay in Vandalia!

Very nice apartment downtown Vandalia across from the old state house and several good restaurants. Vey clean with plenty of space. Note there is a long staircase to the apartment.

Great downtown place!

Stayed 4 nights. Was very clean and decorated for Christmas! Dining options were within steps of the unit. I would definitely stay here again!

Roomy, comfortable, convenient

This apartment exceeded our expectations! So roomy and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and is in a perfect location . Will definitely be back!

Sixteenth Birthday Sleepover

Myself and my daughter enjoyed our stay for her 16th birthday. We live in town, this was a great choice for a special birthday celebration.

Mini Vacay

We could not have been more pleased with our stay in Vandalia! Haley was a wonderful host, very friendly and accommodating! We were centrally located to all the nice shops and restaurants and right across the street was the historic old state capital, which is a must see. The people in Vandalia were all very friendly and we had a wonderful time!

This was our second stay here. We booked the second floor apartment and we loved it. Haley is easy to communicate with and answers quickly. We're impressed with the cleanliness, and the A/C was nice and cold, which helped in the 95 heat. I'm sure we'll be back!

Very unique property that has been remodeled. Cute neighborhood with the old capital building across the street and a tiny park next door. Very clean upon arrival. It is stated in the listing but know there are alot of stairs for this property and the one above. If your knees can handle it, it is worth it. One thing otherd may want to know. There is no extras available. Shampoo, coffee, etc. You will have to bring that with you. However, at this price point, (i paid less than $100/night), thats ok!

The host was wonderful, the place was as pictured, very clean. I had everything I needed. It was well furnished. I only have one issue, but I realize it is out of the control of the owner. There is a bar behind the apartment and the music was quite loud preventing me from sleeping. Again, this is not the owner's fault, but something I would like to know. I would recommend this place as it was clean, nice, well furnished. Great location. Little restaurants in walking distance.

Clean, nicely decorated home. The neighborhood was quiet while we were there. Just missed my Tempur-Pedic mattress.

This was an excellent stay. Host is 5 star. Communication was great, as was the apartment. Very clean and all the essentials. Two things to note if you stay here: the stairs are on the steep side, and the air conditioner is in the bedroom. Our stay was in very hot weather and it cycled on and off often. If you are a light sleeper you should plan accordingly with some earplugs.
