Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place along the bourbon trail .. Sit back and enjoy the view of the farm , cattle , and the sun that rises above the surrounding knobs. Listen to the birds as you have your morning coffee and the coyotes as you sit by the fire pit in the evening ..

Open concept apartment in the detached garage .. all materials used for this renovation were salvaged and redone and made to feel cozy .. I’m all about waste not, want not, recycling and refurbishing

You will be staying in the garage apartment between my house and the cafe .. parking is left of the cafe on the road that heads to the barn . Your parking space is at the stop sign ...

The most scenic and best sunrise view in KY! We had everything in the kitchen we needed! Our place was comfortable and charming. Missy was beyond the best host we could ask for! We were looking for a day of travel, and she was able to offer her services! She added so much to our overall experience! The cows and the sunrise were incredible!

We were extremely happy with the property. I think she downplays it by saying it’s a Garage convert. It was very charming and a very nice place to stay if you’re ever going in that area. She was very close to Makers Mark distillery. Beautifully landscaped property. And Missy is a sweetheart. We would absolutely stay there again. Growing up working on a farm. This place brought back a lot of memories. Loved just sitting there watching the cows eat. You will truly enjoy this.

Peaceful time in the country.

Great peaceful location in the country. We used the location as a base for visiting nearby Bardstown.

The cottage is adorable, as advertised, but the mattress is not comfortable, and the bed pillows are too full and firm (woke up with a sore neck). My ratings would be much better with a new mattress and pillows.

This rental was my favorite that I’ve ever visited. I loved the country style. The interior was quite unique, what with the beautifully stained concrete floor, the wooden slats covering portions of the walls and kitchen island, the quaint rocking chair beside the fireplace and splashes of marble adorning areas of the floor and wall. The kitchen was fully equipped. Regardless of the lack of a stove, no cook would be unable to make delicious meals. There was an electric griddle, hot plate, electric skillet, toaster and toaster oven, microwave, crock pot, griddle and coffee pot. Ample dishware, silverware and cooking utensils accompanied the plethora of cookware. Bon appetit!The tiny dining room held a little, square old-fashioned wooden table with retro chairs. These pieces of furniture were nestled beside a large window to view the fields while eating or playing the many games made available to it’s occupants. Sitting on the porch in the cool early morning wrapped in a blanket sipping a hot cup of tea while gazing out onto the fog covered meadows was calming and breathtaking. The picturesque landscape left us in awe of nature’s beauty. Peace and quiet abounded and helped us take life slow and easy. Missy was fantastic. She was always available and helped us from everything to finding an eating establishment to handing me dryer lint to start our fire!This place is absolutely “adorbs” and I recommend it to anyone wanting to breathe in the beauty of a simple existence.

This was a perfect location for the Bourbon Trail. The pool was a huge bonus for last week’s heat wave. The rental was perfect for two, very charming, clean and comfortable. Missy was extremely nice and very good with communication. I would highly recommend this rental to all.
