This is a family-friendly property. The house has balconies off some of the the bedrooms and two outdoor porches in which to enjoy the outdoor views and the beautiful sunrises. There is a children's park below the property that has a splash pad. There is awalking trail that follows the river and a couple of restaurants, with out door seating close by.

Lovely house

Five girlfriends stayed here for our annual college reunion/girls' trip. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortably furnished, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals ar home. Great location with beautiful river views.

Perfect getaway location!

My siblings and I met up in Atchison to celebrate my 50th bday. This house was absolutely perfect for us. It was very clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. The hosts were very communicative and check-in/out was easy. I would highly recommend this rental and would definitely rent it again if in the area.

Beautiful home

My 6 sisters and I brought our mother to celebrate a landmark birthday for her--the home was so clean! Mom loved the view of the river on all three levels of the house. The beds were so comfortable. We loved the cute artwork in the bathrooms especially. Our only problem was the gnats--they were in the upstairs bathroom every night, and there were wasps on the main deck. One of our party is very scared of wasps, so that was a turn off for her. But our stay was lovely--we were so impressed with the home, and Atchison as a whole experience. Thank you for helping us make our Mother's birthday special!

Memphis Chapter of the Ninety Nines (also members from AL and FL.

We had 2 members from the Memphis Chapter of the Ninety Nines and a member from Florida inducted to the Forest of Friendship. This house was amazing. We enjoyed our stay so much. The property was so clean and conveniently located.

Beautiful Views!

Lovely house with beautiful views! It isn’t fantastic for toddlers because it’s hard to babyproof, but great for all other ages! Very close to a park and the river walk, good amount of space, very nice and clean. Host was responsive to messages and very friendly. No onerous checkout chores or anything!

Awesome stay in Atchison

We were in Atchison for our youngest daughter’s graduation from BC. Sally was extremely easy to work with and communicated well throughout the process. The house was very clean, spacious, and had everything that our group of ten adults could want or need. The weather was beautiful all weekend, so we spent a good deal of our time while at the house out on the deck. The view was awesome and the spacious and well-appointed deck was a perfect spot for our family. As a bonus, we enjoyed the live music from a local establishment that was playing on Saturday evening while we winded down outside. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, and most importantly, the house was very clean. I didn’t hesitate to rate this property fives across the board, as it provided our family with a wonderful experience while in Atchison for our daughter’s graduation. We appreciate Sally and her husband sharing their beautiful home with our family.

Family friendly and a beautiful view!

We had a wonderful stay with a few of our adult children, teenage son and a few of our grandchildren. We were in town to see our daughter's dance performance at Benedictine. The house was immaculate and perfectly laid out for a fun family weekend! Thank you for the opportunity to rent!

Family gathering

This stay was the best experience we've had with VRBO. The house was gorgeous with a beautiful view of the Missouri River. Perfectly stocked kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The decor is stunning, so classy. Rick and Sally were gracious in their communication. Would HIGHLY recommend this rental. We will be back to visit family again and will definitely seek a time this house is available.

Lovely Atchison Home!

This a beautiful property… spacious, comfortable, clean, well-appointed, and in a great location. The views are so lovely on the bluff. Communication with the owners was great, and they were very gracious and kind. I would highly recommend this property, and we hope to return one day!

A gem in Atchison

My family and I stayed here for Family Weekend at Benedictine College. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the view over the river was divine. It was a fabulous spot for quality time with our college student. The house was well stocked with everything that we needed and we were all very comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

Couldn't be a nicer place to stay

This place is first class all the way. Furniture, appliances, linens, anemities, and cleanliness are top notch. Greatest view of the Missouri River valley in town. Beautiful little town with historical homes and buildings all through. I'm coming back!
