Wonderful property in a great location

Wonderful property was located close to the beach and Washington Street mall. We spent the week here with family, and had plenty of space for 7 adults (and two babies). House was clean and well appointed, nicely decorated and was very comfortable. Would definitely come back for another stay!!

Location can’t be beat and the porch is great spot to relax if you don’t want to be on the beach all day. Very lovely home.

The location was perfect. The house was clean and spacious for our family. The host was responsive to the brief internet issues we had. It was a great week at the beach.

Steps from everything

This house is on Jackson Street, one of the most storied and beautiful streets in Cape May. It is within steps of the best dining, drinking, shopping and, most importantly for me, the beach. There’s parking for two cars in the back, and unless you’re going out of town there’s no need for driving. The house came exactly as advertised and was spotless.

LOVE CAPE MAY

Had a wonderful time and the location of the house is amazing. Dave was super responsive with our questions. loved his customer service and he provided clear details of what we needed to do. The house was comfortable, large well appointed, clean and spot on for my families needs. Great house and we would definitely rent again with out hesitation. Thank you Dave.

My friends and I had a lovely stay in this home. The location can't be beat as it is walking distance to both shops and the beach. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the 2nd floor deck and afternoon chats on the front porch. The inside of the home was very clean and comfortable for us. Dave was an excellent host in answering all my questions before we arrived. The unit is on 2nd and 3rd floors which was a little challenging for our 70 years, but we managed and enjoyed ourselves. The home is beautifully decorated in Victorian style with a few modern touches. It is a wonderful rental for anyone wanting to explore the old time atmosphere of old Cape May.

Great location, just ok accommodations

We loved our stay, but the kitchen was poorly equipped with minimal utensils and old, pots and pans - no cookie sized sheet pans. Made it undesirable to cook at home. Beds needed replacing, very wobbly and mattresses were lumpy. But - location can't be beat and there was plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 children.

We so enjoyed our stay at The Beacon VRBO.Dave was a great host & very responsive to our questions. This place is such a wonderful location close & walkable to the beach as well as the shops ;-) We look forward returning next summer!!

The house was fantastic for our family and the location was outstanding. It was close and within walking distance to everything! House was in great condition, had plenty of room and had all the amenities we needed. House was charming and full of Victorian character! Host Dave was fantastic and very responsive. We would definitely consider returning!

Excellent house, well appointed with plenty of kitchenware and glasses.Location is in the heart of everything, shops and restaurants nearby , the beach an easy walk!The front porch has plenty of seating on the shady side , lots of fun watching the constant foot traffic and horse drawn carriages going by!!My only comment is be aware it is two flights up fairly steep stairs to the three bedrooms upstairs.

Spacious condo in a perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay on Jackson Street: The location could not have been better. We were steps from the mall and less than a block from the beach. The beds were comfortable and the place was very spacious, with plenty of room for our family to spread out. We would definitely return!

Wonderful vacation property

We had a wonderful time! It is in the exact perfect location for access to the beach and Washington square. The townhouse had plenty of room and was very charming.

Rented for a family wedding at congress hall. Perfect location.

Everything was as advertised by VRBO. Didn't have any issues as long as you follow the itinerary. Thank you for a Great stay.

Great location!

We loved staying in the heart of Cape May. The mall was a few steps away, and we were so close to the beach. Parking was helpful too since we took some day trips out. The front porch was our favorite part of the house and we spent a lot of time hanging out there with family and friends. The inside of the house is nicely maintained and a big space. The guests staying in the downstairs unit were very friendly and it was no issue staying in a home with 2 units. There were a few loud nights with neighbors across the street out late on their porch. There are a lot of stairs inside which might be difficult for elderly people or very small children but our family managed it fine. We were really happy with our stay here.

Location Location Location!

This house was clean and had plenty of room. We LOVED the location - just steps to Washington Street Mall and a few steps the other way to the beach. Sitting on the big front porch was one of our favorite things to do. We would definitely stay here again!

Location and charm

This Victorian house has lots of charm with a great front porch on one of best streets in Cape May. Everything you could possibly need is within a few blocks away we didn’t need our car once.
