Tucked into the rolling hills of Amish country, the newly-constructed Middlehaven offers an escape from the city and a chance to connect with the folks who matter most.

YOUR LARGE GROUP (& FIDO) ARE WELCOMED HERE
Middlehaven has room for everyone including:
✔️The Main House 5 bedrooms (sleeps 15)
✔️The Loft Apartment 1 bedroom (sleeps 6- addition cost $200/night)
✔️The Conservatory 1 bedroom (sleeps 2- additional cost $150/night)

For groups of 15 or less, The Main House offers 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, giving you ample space to spread out comfortably in English Cottage-style accommodations.

For groups of 16+, The Loft Apartment offers additional sleeping arrangements for up to 6 other people.

Want more privacy and romance? Add The Conservatory to your stay and get a private space with a king bed, double shower, and a soaking clawfoot tub for two. A stocked kitchenette and private deck easily make for slow mornings with coffee in hand.

Middlehaven’s private, woodland ponds offer the chance to cool off in the summer heat. Practice your kayaking skills and splash away the afternoon in one of the two available ponds. The kids will love playing in the kid-friendly, gentle waterfall. And once they’re in bed? The grownups can take a relaxing dip in the 8-person hot tub.

A: We are minutes away from Dover, New Philadelphia, and Ohio’s largest Amish community. Nearby attractions include:

- The Pro Football Hall of Fame (25 min drive to Canton)

Q: What about COVID?
A: We are taking extra precautions to keep our properties disinfected, which includes the use of disinfectant on all door knobs, light switches, railings, faucet handles, etc... in addition to all high-use areas.

Q: Is Middlehaven pet friendly?
A: Well behaved pets are welcome with well behaved owners. Pets do need to be pre-approved and there is an additional $100/per pet fee.

Great place, very private and surrounded by trees, ponds, and nature. I highly recommend. Just note that the host separately leases the main house, the loft, and the guest house. You will need to message the host directly to ensure you book what you intend.

Amazing

The property was amazing and anything you could think of was there. It truly felt like a home away from home. It stormed pretty bad the one day and the power went out but they thankfully had a back up generator so we could continue our family fun. Every little detail was perfect down to the box of cookies left for our family. We can’t thank Rose and Brian enough for a great weekend getaway!!

This was our 14th annual family weekend. Everything was perfect! I read the reviews when I booked and they were spot on! Rose thought of everything! Usually when we rent a house we need to go to the store to stock up but they thought of everything! I would definitely recommend! We already booked for next year!

Rose's property Middlehaven was the perfect place for us to get together as an extended family. She thought of everything!! We were welcomed by a stocked fridge, homemade cookies, supplies to make s'mores, and little treats for the kiddos. The house itself is amazing. We had so much fun with the swimming pool, kayaking and paddle boarding in the second pool, the hot tub, fire pit, basketball court, and thanks to Rose, pickleball! We have stayed at many rental properties in the past, and I can honestly say that Middlehaven is one of the best that we have ever stayed at.

The house was fabulous. Very roomy and up-to-date. The property was very nice. We had an issue with the freezer and the hosts were very responsive to resolve the issue. We totally enjoyed our stay!

One of the best experiences I’ve had! Super clean and stocked with everything you may need! The Host was super responsive when needed! We had a small wedding here and it was a great mini vacation with my family! I can’t wait to come back!

Private Family Paradise

We were fortunate enough to find Middlehaven for our first annual family vacation, and it exceeded every expectation! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a beautiful welcome basket and a personalized note from Rose, which included delicious cookies, tattoos for the kids, and even a beautifully packed basket of essentials for our dogs. Rose truly provided everything we needed and more.The property itself is incredibly private and peaceful. We loved watching the chipmunks play in the morning and the deer walk through the grounds in the afternoon. The house was set up perfectly for our group of 17; we shared large meals together easily and never once felt crowded. The kids were constantly active—swimming, fishing, and playing on the basketball court—while adults and kids alike loved relaxing in the hammocks scattered throughout the property. It was the perfect backdrop for our family memories, and we cannot recommend it enough!

10 STARS OUT OF 5! I ranked everything 5 stars because that’s all they would let me give — but this home deserves 10 out of 5!Every single detail was perfect. The home was beautiful, incredibly well thought out, and somehow gave our family the perfect combination of space to all be together AND space to spread out, sleep, get ready, and actually be comfortable. I truly think we used every single inch of this house!The beds were SO comfortable. The kids absolutely LOVED the pond. The welcome gifts were such a thoughtful touch. The design, decor, layout, amenities… I could seriously go on and on, but I’d probably use every character they allow me. Maybe the best review I can give is this: our family has always done a reunion every two years. After this trip, everyone decided we need to do it EVERY year. And I’m pretty sure this house had a lot to do with it!We made some incredible memories here and genuinely did not want to leave. If you’re considering booking this home for a family gathering — DO IT. You will not regret it.

Middlehaven has my heart ❤️

I was lucky enough to win a 2 night stay at this slice of heaven! The house is perfection! Rose has thought of absolutely every single detail, you can imagine. All you need to bring is food and your clothes. Communication, the whole time from Rose, was exceptional. It truly feels like a home away from home & is so relaxing. We were blessed with 2 baby deer and a mom the first night. It was so special, to watch. Being in the country in nature, is so peaceful and the ponds are absolutely beautiful. Dover is also a hidden gem and the surrounding Amish country, towns have everything you need for food! If you love farm stores, amazing food and shopping local. This is the place for you! I am so grateful, I got to experience this magical place!

Perfect getaway

The owners of this property have truly thought of everything to make your stay the most relaxing, most fun, most special! This was our second year spending NYE with extended family at Middlehaven, and it won’t be our last. Highlights: relaxing in the hot tub, walking the property with our dogs, air hockey and arcade game tournaments, talking around the huge table that fit all 12 of us.

This place was absolutely amazing! Pictures don’t do it justice. Our kids cried when we left because they had such an amazing time. It’s peaceful, beautiful, quiet, clean and there is so much to do between the game room and the ponds. We already are planning our next trip to come back!

The perfect place for a mental reset.

Your Family’s Place will forever be our favorite get away. From the moment of planning to stay here, to booking, to the travel, to the actual vacation, everything is STRESS free. It’s like nothing else we have ever experienced. We never have to worry about anything through out the process. If there is ever even the slightest worry Rose is quick to answer any and all questions. Being at any of these properties is the perfect escape from our day to day lives. The one place where worry seems to be non existent. Forever our favorite place in Ohio for our family and our Dogs 🫶

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

We had a fantastic stay! The home was absolutely gorgeous, spotless, and had the perfect amount of space and activities for everyone—from kids ages 3 to 12 to six adults. It was well-equipped and close to lots of local attractions, making it a great home base. Highly recommend!

Unforgettable Stay

We could not have asked for a more beautiful or perfect place to spend our wedding weekend! From the moment we arrived, this home felt incredibly special and became the backdrop for so many of our favorite memories with our closest friends and family. We hosted our rehearsal dinner here, spent the weekend making memories with our best friends, and had our bridesmaids get ready here before the wedding. Every part of the house was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for such a meaningful weekend. It truly felt like the perfect home away from home for our wedding celebration. And Rose was absolutely amazing! She was so wonderfully accommodating, thoughtful, and attentive. She had truly thought of everything and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was easy, comfortable, and special. You can tell how much care and love she puts into both the home and her guests. We will forever look back on our wedding weekend and think of this beautiful house and all of the incredible memories we made there. We are so grateful we found this place and had the opportunity to celebrate such an important time in our lives here. Amazing, amazing, amazing! We could not recommend this home or Rose more highly. This home was absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures. Everyone was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of space and the host provided everything we needed. She also included some extra little items that were a nice surprise. Each year my extended family gets away so we can all spend sometime together. This was BY FAR the best place we have stayed. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning. I

This is the most impressive stay so far. You will need or want for nothing. The home is beautiful emwith a fully stocked kitchen. There is plenty of room for a large group. There are tables and chairs that can sest everyone in the game room to host a large game tournament.

Far exceeded our expectations!

We gathered at Middlehaven and the Conservatory for an early family Christmas gathering. The property is beautiful! Rose is an excellent host and covers every detail. The rooms were decorated with Christmas charm, even the bedrooms. We will definitely be returning again. If you are looking for a place to create family memories, this is the place!!!!
