Great location. Glenn (Host) is great and always there in case of any issues. Very quiet place, close to all the restaurants and bars. Beach is at a walking distance.

Beautiful & spacious property in a fantastic location!

We enjoyed a wonderful two weeks in the (larger than expected) two bedroom condo. The location in Zona Romantica was perfect with close access to everything we typically want to do while in PV.

Puerto Vallarta Christmas

Our accommodations were perfect, even better than the pictures. Quiet street just 2 blocks up from the hustle and bustle. We hope to stay here again on our next visit.

Great place for the price

It was a very nice, specious, nicely furnished and well equipped unit and centrally located to old town. The only negative is the pool which is located next to a high rise building that is being constructed. It was an amazing value for the price.

Consistently amazing

Really a wonderful place to stay and I am loathe to say that as it will book up. Not our first time here and not our last. Simply a great experience with no issues at all. Everything you see is true to its word

Exceptional

You will not be disappointed staying here. The apartment is accurately depicted in the photos. Spacious , comfortable and has everything you need. Located in a quiet building close to restaurants and nightlife yet far enough away. If you are looking for sweeping ocean views then this is not the place but in every other way it surpasses expectations.

Perfect Old Town Location

The condo is absolutely beautiful and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The view was mediocre...just rooftops and other buildings. The location is the winner here. Everything is very walkable. The description of "No Hills" is slightly exaggerated. Stairs and railings made the last 100 feet or so manageable but it's definitely not flat.

quite perfect

Beautiful, very big place. Everything as advertised in the listing. We cook a lot more than most travelers and it was well equipped to do so, unlike a lot of vacation rentals. Great communication. Well-run building. Loved the location, just enough set back from the noise/crowds of Badillo and Olas Altas and the beach, but close enough to be there quickly. Extremely convenient for many errands and so close to the bus line to the nice beach towns to the south.

Great place to stay in Romantic zone

Spent 21 nights here over Xmas with my girlfriend and my 75 year old mother .Location worked out well for all of us with so many dining choices,spa services and shopping so close by.Pool area was a nice quiet spot to hang out and relax if you needed a break from the hustle and bustle.The condo was as advertised and did not disappoint any of us.It was clean,kitchen was fully equipped and the whole place was tastefully decorated.Correspondence with the owner was good .We accidentally broke a vase which I informed the owner of and we’re not charged for it at the time of me writing this review.I would recommend staying here!

Peace and Tranquility and Still Neart It All!

The photos are terrific but they don't do this incredible place justice! It has a super layout and easy flow. The pool is very private, the rooms incredibly spacious, and all the luxury you need is contained within this tucked-away jewel. Very quiet and tranquil and we had a lovely stay! This location is also situated ideally for a stroll to the nearby restaurants or cafes. For all you yoga lovers, Yoga Vallarta is just a few blocks from here (5 mins. walk), and the Malecon is just a 10 minute walk from here. I would recommend both this property and Joe, the owner, at any time for a positive PV experience.

Condo was great, complex surrounding terrible!

We arrived at the condo, and it was as expected. It is a great large condo very nicely furnished. If this unit was in a better location it would have been ideal. As we checked the area, there was a major road directly out the front door. As we look out from the balcony there is a large ugly building blocking the view. We did not mind not having ocean view but the photos in the listing showed a different view than what we saw from the balcony. It was blocked by buildings and the view was terrible. As we went down to the pool area there was a large 8 to 10 story building under construction just next to the pool area. Upon closer inspection we noticed construction debris in the pool. We were not going to spend our days hanging by a pool with construction workers looking down at us 24/7, as well as objects falling down on us. We immediately called the owner and explained our dissatisfaction with the unit. Joe was very pleasant and explained that he wanted us to be 100% satisfied or we did not have to stay there. We told him that we would be finding other accommodations. He would be happy to give us a full refund minus the VRBO fee. He then called back and stated that since it was such a late notice he would be charging us 1 night for cancelling. I felt that was fair,a and was comfortable agreeing to that. We both agreed and I waited on my deposit return as well as our money back for 6 nights. We originally booked the unit for 7 nights. After 10 days or so without any return, I made contact with Joe once again by phone as well as emails. At this time he stated that he has many rentals and didn't realize that we booked through VRBO and they have a 0% return policy, but he would be willing to give us back 1/2 of our money. Since payment is made in full before you arrive you are in no position to argue so we once again agreed with Joe hoping we would at least get 1/2 of our money back for a condo we never used. Apparently Joe's word is only as good as his financial situation. If you don't mind views that are blocked this is a good unit to rent, obviously in about another year or 2 after the construction next door is complete.

His first comment was “Condo was great, complex surrounding terrible” The photos of the condo and the views are 100% accurate and recent with no ugly building blocking the view! His main complaint was that there was construction on the hillside above the pool which caused debris in the pool. The condo has two full-time employees their job it is to make sure the pool and common areas are spotless at all times. The condo on the hillside, under construction, is due for completion in October of this 2017. I did agree to give him his money back minus 1 nights rent BUT was predicated on finding a new renter for the time that he had reserved and he agreed. I agreed later to give him half because I was unable to find a guest for that time. I would not have minded giving 100% if the reason was outstanding or valid. I believe as an owner, of a property with more than 40 plus 5-star reviews, it is my responsibility that the unit is clean and depicts the listing accurately and is available for the dates the client reserved.

Great Location! Great Condo! Great Stay!

I have never been more impressed with the quality and maintenance of the residence and the complex itself. First, it is truly in the heart of the Romantic Zone and has very little incline to get there. Everything is within walking distance or a short Uber/Cab ride. The residence itself is very well equipped. It goes beyond the "full kitchen" term! The owners are very nice and respond quickly. The condo is very large and airy making it comfortable for everyone. The pictures do not do the residence justice. You will enjoy your stay!

Home away from home

The location is perfect. You are just blocks away from shopping, restaurants and the night life. You can walk to the beach. This condo is huge, nicely decorated with all the amenities. I would highly recommend this rental. Robert

Totally enjoyed my stay!!

This was a lovely, spacious condo, which is very well taken care of. The location is fantastic. You can find anything you may be looking for within a short walking distance. The owners were always available and helpful when I had any questions. Everyone working at the condo are extremely polite and helpful. I very much enjoyed my two month stay.

Still perfect location and amenities (repeat renter)

We stayed at this property in 2018 and decided to return. Since our last stay the owner has made some improvements to furnishings and fixtures where needed. What thankfully had not changed are Myra the night security guard and Herminia the housekeeper. Both of them work very hard, always greet you with a big smile, and are caring, helpful people.

Home away from home

Modern, well designed, large condo. Steps away from restaurant's, shopping and bars/clubs. I could never stay in a hotel room when i can stay in a large condo with all its amenities.

The property is amazing!

Everything about this property was terrific. Booking, check in, and check out were all super easy. The property it beautiful. Walking distance to the beach, restraunts, and shops. I will not only stay here again, I will recommend it to friends and family the next time they come down.

Perfect location, perfect place for a small group to stay

We have been to Puerto Vallarta many times and this place is by far the best place we have stayed in the Puerto Vallarta romantic zone! First the hosts were very easy to communicate with and have a hands on approach sending someone to check in on us when we got there and quickly answering any texts or emails questions that came up during the stay. The location is perfect and as described, right in the heart of the romantic zone. A quick walk down the small hill to one of the main streets brings you to a host of restaurants, bars, clubs & shops. It is about a 15 minute walk from the gay beaches and even less time for the rest of the beaches. As for the hill it is not that much of a climb, we have climbed much worse. If you have trouble walking it will be the cobblestone streets in town that you will need to be careful of. The unit was as described, large and spacious and perfect for two couples and maybe a tagalong. I think you could make the little TV room nook into a non-private sleeping area if you travel with a larger group. The kitchen was well stocked with the basic spices and stuff for cooking or heating up meals. Under normal circumstances we don't come to this city to cook but during our trip the city shut down at 8:30 due to COVID-19, this was the perfect place to stay when our nights ended around 8:30. Now for the only downsides. The balcony is great to hang out on at night but mosquitos love it just as much as we do! This is a residential building and you can hear life go on above, so I assume those below us heard us too. The pool closes at 10 which is also typical for places like this. In conclusion this is not the place to have large noisy groups or late night parties, but also under normal circumstances the loud noisy party and good times on the warm Mexican nights would be out on the streets and on the Malecon where the people watching and street food never end. We hope to be able to come back here and stay again in the future. For those who might want to travel during this pandemic and are worried you might end up spending a lot of time at your vacation rental, this is a great place to choose.
