Me and my husband came here for our honeymoon and we absolutely love this property in the peace it brought! The hosts are so welcoming and encouraging! We even were able to share dinner with them one night! We loved Horse cake ranch so much and would absolutely recommend anyone to go there themselves!

Beautiful scenic view

Quiet scenic ranch for 2 people, great hosts, easy access to main road. Would recommend for a great vacation!

Bill and Laura were a delight to have as guests! They were like having your good friends visit! They enjoyed the Ranch, communicated very well and left the Bunkhouse in spotless condition! We sincerely hope to see them again!

Charming Bunkhouse Close to Missoula

We very much enjoyed the wonderful setting and the friendly hosts, including the puppy! Sorry we couldn't interact more, but we'd love to stay again.

We booked as a 3 day stopover but this is definitely a destination to stay at. Beautiful place with the best in hospitality. The surroundings on the property are beyond beautiful. Ernie and Toni were very gracious and welcoming hosts. Loved it, can't wait to go back.

The only place will stay if we are in the area!

Our stay at the ranch was absolutely amazing, if I could give a higher rating, I would. Ernie and Toni were absolutely amazing hosts, The property is gorgeous, and we loved the peacefulness and abundant wildlife seen nearby. Of all the places I’ve traveled, this was one of the hardest to leave.

What a fantastic and peaceful escape from city life. The cabin is modern and beautiful and the warm welcome from Sammy, the dog was priceless. Our days were filled with four wheeler rides, hiking, bonfires and enjoying the crisp mountain air.

The Horse Creek Ranch

Toni and Ernie were wonderful hosts with an amazing ranch and rental. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We have found our home away from home.

Horse Creek Ranch

Ernie and Toni were excellent hosts. Their hospitality was outstanding. The cabin was clean and decorated so beautifully. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We highly recommend this b&b.

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful the hosts are along with their beautiful property and cutest little bunkhouse. They will make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Ms. Toni, Mr. Ernie and their sweet pup Sammie are the greatest individuals. I cannot wait to go back!

Everything was AMAZING and Toni was a wonderful host! We learned a ton about the property and got to go on a nice horseback ride! She allowed me to bring two of my horses and it was a lot of fun!

We had a great time at the ranch. What a beautiful location. Toni and Ernie are great hosts, we enjoyed our visit very much. Horse creek ranch definitely has a great thing going. Id love to stay agian sometime.

Stunning location. Cabin extremely well presented, clean with lots of added extras. Private outside seating area with barbecue is a great place to sit and relax. Hosts Ernie and Toni are wonderful in making sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend the horse back riding it was magical. Horse Creek Ranch has to be the best place we have stayed on our three week holiday to Montana.

Beautiful Cabin

Everything was perfect and details were not overlooked. From the ice tea waiting for us upon arrival to cleanliness of the place. Toni and Ernie are great hosts and would recommend staying with them as you explore Montana.

Clean - cozy- welcoming

Ranch is beautiful and side by side your by owner was amazing! Very friendly welcoming. Had everything you need. Toni and Ernie were wonderful hosts! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Wonderful get away

We really enjoyed the tranquility. It was so peaceful, private and beautiful. The wildlife was fun to watch. Sammy the dog was very welcoming and lovable. The bunk house is decorated so adorably. The hosts were so thoughtful in providing extra amenities in case you forgot anything. We look forward to our next stay at the bunk house.

AMAZING!!!

This property is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. The owners are the kindest, sweetest people who showed and taught us so much about the land. I highly recommend staying here. We were given our privacy the entire time but the owners were available with any needs. We can’t wait to go back. Amazing!!

Place to visit for your vacation.

We are really happy with our stay, Ernie and Tony are really a good host. Tony think about every little details things that we might need for a stay. She cover all the amenities we need. Ernie took us for a tour on their property. Thank you.....you guys awesome!!

Tranquil getaway

This is such a beautiful property! From the views to the sounds of nature it was absolutely perfect. Toni and Ernie were such gracious hosts. And we can’t forget Sammy!! My niece said that Sammy was one of her most favorite parts or the property(ours too)! We hope to stay again with them.

Beautiful, God's Country

My old, grouchy cowboy relaxed and loved this place. Actually interacted with the owners on this beautiful ranch. If you love Christ, cowboys, Faith and farming, you will love this place. The luxurious bunkhouse has everything you will need other than a few groceries for main meals. The nicest VRBO I have ever stayed in! I have stayed in about 15 from CA to Texas.

Ben and Ginger were amazing guests! Ernie enjoyed Ben’s company as he was so helpful with various tasks around the Ranch. They are salt of the earth people. They communicated well, enjoyed the Ranch and left the Bunkhouse spotless! We look forward to having them visit again!

A Great Experience

Staying at Horse Creek Ranch with Ernie, Toni, Sam, and the kittens was a perfect way to end our Montana trip. You will not find better hosts anywhere. The bunkhouse was fantastic. The ranch was beautiful. And the conversations were interesting and often educational for us. We truly enjoyed our time here and hope to return someday. Thanks, again.

This property is truly a slice of heaven. The bunkhouse is beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Toni and Ernie had treats and tea waiting for us upon arrival, which was just one of the many thoughtful touches that made our stay so special.One of our favorite features was the outdoor sitting area with the tabletop Solo Stove. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking and rafting while taking in the stunning sunsets. We were even lucky enough to see a rainbow during our stay!Toni and Ernie were incredibly kind and hospitable hosts. Ernie took us on a side-by-side tour of the property, and I highly recommend taking the time to do this if you have the opportunity. The valley, breathtaking views, beautiful landscaping, and abundant wildlife were absolutely amazing.During our stay, we even became attached to some of the farm animals, especially the friendly kitties and Sammy the dog, who became our honorary dog while we were there. We also loved watching the horses graze peacefully in the meadow and wander through the valley.This was a truly memorable experience, and we will absolutely be back. Thank you, Toni and Ernie, for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

Relaxation Ranch

My husband and I wanted a relaxing weekend to take photos and be in a quiet setting. The setting is wonderful. The accommodations were well decorated and very comfortable. We were able to bbq every night and used the ranch chef for our breakfasts. Loved spending time with Sammie and the ranch cats. Hosts are fantastic. Think this is our favorite VRBO spot so far. Took lots of photos. Spent time shopping in the huge book store in Alberton. Went sightseeing to Bison Range. Was a fabulous setting and a wonderful time away from our regular life.

Ernie and I had the pleasure of hosting Julie and Dan for several days. They took beautiful photographs and shared them with us. Julie and Dan are very respectful while enjoying the Ranch and the Bunkhouse. We would definitely recommend them as guests!

Fantastic Mountain Getaway

Of the VRBO’s we’ve stayed this is the nicest. The bunkhouse was immaculate, comfortable and came with all of essentials for cooking and hygiene. The property has spectacular views of the mountains and the night sky. Fishing is within 20 minutes either direction South to the Bitterroot River or North to the Clark Fork as well as Petty Creek that follows the route. Both directions also offer good places for a cold beverage and a bite to eat. Opportunities are plentiful to see wildlife and wild flowers. The hosts Toni and Earnie were the best!!
