This condo was well-located - short drive to town, 30 minutes from the airport, and about 45 minutes to Glacier. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice view of the lake from the porch and living room. The kitchen and bath were very outdated and worn. The living room and porch furniture was not that comfortable. Maybe some chair cushions would help. The kitchen had decent pots and pans but no microwave dishes. It could be a good value compared to other rentals if you are looking to cut costs and not looking for luxury.

Great Family Trip!

We had a wonderful family trip in Whitefish near the lake! The lake had frozen over and people were ice skating and exploring the beauty of the wintery scene. The location close to the idyllic downtown and ski resort were convenient and we were able to take a short trek to Glacier National Park! Would stay here again!

lovely condo with all of the ammenities

Perfect place for our family of four (2 adults, 2 elementary aged children). The fully equipped kitchen was very handy. The views of the lake from the deck were lovely. My kids especially enjoyed the indoor pool. We would definitely stay here again if we go back to the area.

We had an excellent stay at Bay Point. The condo was great, very clean and comfortable. The kids loved it as much as we did. We will be going back!

Great Spot

The condo was perfect for our family while in town for a baseball tournament. The view from the deck, short walk to the lake and quiet area made the downtime relaxing. We were just a short drive from downtown and City Beach. The condo was clean and had what we needed to cook simple meals.

Only Adequate

The furniture and the interior of the unit were not as deluxe as I had been lead to believe. I've seen much better at this price.

Thanks for your review, North. I'm not sure who or what led you to believe there was "deluxe" furniture/interior in this condo. I just took a peak at the pics and they're pretty standard furnishings, nothing special. Bay Point condos are in an older condominium association so things can be dated some and at the nightly rate you paid of about $150/night (fees/taxes/cleaning not included), that seems quite standard for this time of year. I apologize if this hindered your stay. I hope you were able to get out and enjoy the activities Whitefish had to offer!

Short stay on the lake

The condo was good for us. Easy to get into and no stairs to climb, which was great for two seniors bringing in luggage. The unit had a really nice view of the lake and was quiet with the exception of the footsteps of our neighbors above. But was of really no bother. Walked into town and easy access to other family members staying at the lodge. Very walkable. We enjoyed this little condo. Our only problem, but was manageable, was the parking. Getting in was not a problem but getting out took some maneuvering because of the tightness of the space and a cement wall directly behind. But it was not a big deal as long as there is no hurry to get going. Lovely little unit. Clean and had what we needed once we were able to settle our belongings and get our luggage out of the way.

Beautiful location

Overall the condo was pretty great for our needs as a family of 4. We spent most of our time at the lake or the pool. Walking distance to whitefish city beach, and the private beachfront was really nice too. Gorgeous view of the lake from the balcony. The location was perfect but the parking was really stressful for this unit; I wouldn’t stay here again specifically for this reason. The bedding and bathroom were clean, but the table and counters needed a good wipe down. Beds were comfortable (king was a foam mattress.) The ceiling and walls are paper thin and we were glad to have two sound machines to dull out some of the noise. (The other renters were not loud, but you could hear every squeak, footstep, turning on the faucet, sneeze, etc.) If the parking wasn’t a deal breaker for us, I’d probably stay here again when my kids are a bit older and less sensitive to noise. After a rough sleep the first night, we adjusted (added another sound machine) and really ended up enjoying our trip and stay! (Also to note: the unit DOES have AC; and upon checkout, they ask you to strip the beds, wash dishes, and take trash out to dumpsters - which were all completely full. If you check out early like we did - due to weather - you won’t get the email until after you’ve left, so just FYI.)

Check out info is sent the day before you depart so yes, if you leave a day early, without letting us know to adjust dates, you will not get the email until the day before your current check out date. Also, we get asked all the time what guests can do before they check out so those items you mentioned, we specifically say they are absolutely not required, but nice. You can do some, or nothing at all, but it's always appreciated. I'm sorry the bins were full - this can happen during these crazy, busy, summer months when Whitefish has thousands of people in town. These condos are older, so unfortunately you can hear noise through the walls at times. I'm defintely sorry the counter & table needed a wipe down; I will pass that along to the cleaners. Parking can be a pain... Bay Point of course did not think too much about that many, many years ago. I hope you were able to enjoy Whitefish!
