We had a little cleaning snafu due to the flood that was remedied immediately. The place was great and the spot couldn’t have been better. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place

This was a great place to stay. Awesome river access, plenty of sleeping room, and lots of room for out door activities.

Good Ol' Boys Annual Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We're a large group of friends and family, all guys that get together for some bird hunting, golf, river action and college football! Frio Family is absolutely the best ever at accomodating our needs and we've been doing this same trip for so many years, that we seen many management companies come and go and without question Nicole and Frio Family Getaway are hands down the best we've ever dealt with in all of Concan! Professional, yet personable, always pleasant, responsive, outgoing, easy to work with and just good people!

Great location, great house as always

We’ve stayed at this house several times over the past 20 years or so. Was as great as it always has been. Great communication.

The property was very nice. only one suggestion. Replace the mat in the master bathroom. It was very dangerious. slid very easily. Otherwise the property met all our desires. WE had no need to contact the property manager, therefore we have nothing to rate them on.

Texan cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin needs more skillets and especially saucepans. The ones there are extremely used. I realize the renters misuse them. But rust and cuts on the Teflon coating is not safe to use. Decorations are very nice. The main bedroom / bathroom is large and very nice. Needs shade

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first year at the Texan. We usually stay at the Bunkhouse; however, with 3 families sharing a house and with the kids getting older and bringing friends we needed a bigger house. The Texan worked perfectly for us. 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms and a nice sized kitchen along with an extra refrigerator in the laundry room. The upstairs bedrooms stayed cold which is hard to find. The Texan has a concrete pad riverside which is perfectly shaded. Hippie Chicks is just down the road if you need a cold drink and something to eat.

The Texan Love

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Private direct River access!No matter of what the actual River Level is, there is always water at The Texan house! The house is setup with more than enough room, bathrooms and comfortable seating for our family of 18! Eat, sleep, float, repeat!

Love this house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd stay in this house and won’t be out last! It has everything we need. The best part is being so close to the water. For the last several years the water is too low to float. Because of the location we are able to walk right down and get in the water. I still sat on my float and my grandkids played. Having the water there is priceless!

Family Getaway

We do wish that a golf cart would have been allowed to go back and forth to the river to the cement pad. Will definitely stay again.
