This ranch is a private property of 1200 acres of rolling hills. It is completely secluded and has 5 miles of private river front and over 20 miles of trails. When you rent the ranch it is like you are renting your own state park. A wonderful spot for a family reunion, vacation or corporate event.
The Lone Star River Ranch has 2 large houses right beside each other, both with 6 bedrooms each. There is also a large outdoor kitchen and pavilion, pool and hot tub, and an event barn that can be rented separately for weddings or other large events.
There are multiple fishing ponds on the property, and the largest one is equipped with a fishing dock and kayaks
The ranch has catering options as well as a menu of excursions and activities such as square dancing, target shooting, roping lessons, wine and cheese tasting.

We had a great time with our group of 25 women. Everyone loved it and commented on how beautiful it was and how much space there was. Everyone was able to be in the bed type they wanted whether a private room or shared room and people loved being there. The facilities were beautiful. The land was amazing and we only wish we had better weather and would have helped to have had more info on how to access the trails and river since it was so massive. Still it was so peaceful and beautiful. There is so much space for a large group, the kitchens are stocked with anything you can need and more. Plenty of extra blankets and throws and pool towels and really appreciated the extra details they included. We loved the pool and outdoor fire pits,had some trouble with the hot tub not heating and there wasn’t fire starter but we given a discount so appreciated that. We had several minor issues, mainly due to a county wide power outage which was out of their control. Thankfully they had generators. One wasn’t working which caused some issues with electricity and outlets and such but they were very responsive to any of our requests and showed up to help often and it was all back on after a few hours. Communication from the beginning was great, they were very helpful and accommodating. Our group is already talking about when we can go back. Highly recommend especially for big groups looking to escape in a beautiful place.

This is a wonderful, large property for large, extended families who want to get away without competing distractions. Beautiful, remote ranch with extremely comfortable and expansive accommodations— the listing does not do it justice. The White House is newer and more intimate(smaller but still welll appointed kitchen), the stone house has a huge kitchen and dining area large enough to prepare and serve meals our group of 24 adults, 11 kids and 3 infants.. it is well stocked with pretty much any kitchen gadget needed and a big deep freezer in addition to 4 refrigerators scattered through the house. Don’t worry about dirty clothes — there are 6 washer and dryer combos. The garage ‘gym’, although not air conditioned, is a great place for the kids to blow off steam if raining. The pool is a nice size and the covered patio is amazing. The outdoor kitchen was in the midst of being repaired during our stay unfortunately. The fire pit was relaxing and all porches are scattered with a plethora of rocking chairs and swings. The kids enjoyed the zip line and walks. The river is not easily accessible and given the ages of the kids and recent rains, would not have taken them on the river in kayaks. We explored a few of the trails on foot and in truck; however would have liked to have had a map of the property (both the house layout and the ranch roads) . We did kill a couple black widow spiders by the stone house which is to expected in central Texas. bring shampoo.
