Boasting a spacious split-level floor plan perfect for multiple families with expansive windows and impeccable design, this residence is sure to impress. Enjoy a casual meal on the kitchen island or over the formal dining table with upscale furnishings, and a gourmet kitchen, complete with top-of-line appliances.

1. Check-in Time, 3:00PM ; Check-out Time. 10:00AM
2. Maximum Day Time & Night Time Occupancy is 10.
3. Parking for 4 vehicles (Garage parking for 2 vehicles, driveway parking for 2 vehicles). No parking allowed on the street.
4. No shoes inside past the entry-level allowed.
5. No parties or events.
6. No pets allowed.
7. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rental property. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.
8. Access to Schaffer's Mill Amenities is restricted to Schaffer's Mill Members and their guests only (Except for The Sawyer Restaurant. *Reservations required).
9. Driveway (nearest the garage) needs to be cleared for Wednesday garbage pickup.

Great house and location

This was a great home in a nice central location. Easy to get to plenty of hiking and lake visits. Very nice to be close to shopping and dining in Truckee. I may have missed this, but home is a duplex which I was unaware. Fortunately, the other unit was not occupied, so no worries. I do wonder how things would be if it was occupied. I also was unaware that the main view from great covered deck area is a view of apartments. I feel like I’m nitpicking here, but want to give all thoughts. The house exceeded expectations and there was everything we needed for stay. Host was very easy to deal with as well as check in and check out. I already have recommended this home to friends and will likely revisit!

Excellent house I would suggest that the kitchen have salt & pepper , also some cooking oil, perhaps, olive oil The tissue box holders did not have boxes of tissue Other than that I would highly recommend

AAA+ Modern and Clean

Check in super easy with key coded door and garage. Schaffer’s Mill is a beautiful gated golf community with a restaurant and club (small bar area, pool, hot tubs/fire pits and a nice gym). We were given codes that only opened hot tub/fire pit area, but if you use access to pool and gym (new phone key fob system) you could get charged $35/person per day. The system was new and didn’t seem to work so many members opened the locked gate to the pool for us and we were not charged. But that could be an issue down the road and might want to verify with owner. The house was amazing. Super clean and almost everything was brand new. The chef style kitchen was fully stocked with place settings for at least 20 and all the pots, pans, and dishes needed to cook entire meals. There is also a Webber grill on the patio with a couple chairs (could use a few more chairs though). 3 master bedrooms and a 4th bedroom with 4 full size bunk beds. All had their own large bathrooms plus a 5th 1/2 bath near kitchen/ dining area. Overall we gave it a 9 out of 10. My only draw back was the confusion with access to all the amenities and we really wished there was outdoor dining seating… the surroundings were so beautiful we wanted to spend more time outdoors on the patio. This was a perfect house for 2 families to share an amazing time in Tahoe. We would all definitely stay there again.

The space
For entertainment, all the bedrooms feature flat screen TV’s, games and a golf putting mat are available. And no matter the season, you and your guests can enjoy a cocktail by the covered outdoor fireplace, complete with BBQ grill or go sledding beside the house.

When it's time to rest, retire to one of the four bedrooms, each featuring a luxurious King memory foam beds. The bunk room offers four full size beds, ensuring that every member of the family has plenty of space to spread out and relax.

Other things to note
PLACER COUNTY SHORT TERM RENTAL ORDINANCE:

Placer County requires we inform you of the rules and regulations relevant to your home's Short Term Rental Permit. These policies are strictly enforced and fines from the county ranging from $1,500 - $5,000 can be issued to guests for each violation.

PARKING: All cars must be parked in the garage and/or driveway. Parking on the street is prohibited at all times.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the agreement.

QUIET HOURS: (9PM – 8AM) No sound from the vacation rental home shall be audible from the parcel line during this time. Noise shall be minimized in order that it not be an unreasonable annoyance, disturbance or nuisance to neighbors.

LIGHTS OUT: All exterior lights that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors must be turned off between the hours of 10pm-7am, seven days a week.

RED FLAG WARNINGS: Due to extreme wildfire danger all outdoor wood or charcoal burning is prohibited, including open wood burn pits, bonfires, campfires, and charcoal grills. Do not bring personnel grills or portable fireplaces. When a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning is in effect for the geographical area where the short-term rental is located, all sources of outdoor open flame (including gas/propane/pellet BBQs) are prohibited.

It is your responsibility to be informed of Red Flag Warnings. You will see signs on the front of all fire district stations, hear about it on the news, see it on social media and hear about it on the radio.

TRASH: Please keep our bears safe by properly storing and disposing of trash. Do not leave food unattended in your cars our outside for any reason. Trash should be disposed of in the bear-proof trash receptacles located within the properties garage.
