I enjoyed my stay, and the rental was just as described. A big bonus was the indoor air quality. When I arrived (in summer), the window was cracked open, ceiling fan was running, and a HEPA air purifier was also running. So if you are looking for a place with excellent ventilation, this is a great pick! Note: if you are using Google Maps GPS to navigate to the location, make sure to put in "Superior Township" as the town rather than "Ypsilanti," or it may take you to the wrong address.

Great experience, I needed somewhere to rest while my wife had surgery in Ann Arbor and it checked all the boxes. Nice little suit if you just need a shower and a bed.

Place was clean, fresh and well decorated. Check-in process was smooth. Host was cordial. App was acting up so messages were delayed, other than that, it was a good experience.

It was much smaller than expected. The listing indicates it would sleep three and looked like the third would be in a separate area, but that would have been in a very small hallway. It was very clean and fine for one person.

Yipsalanti stay

This property was so clean and fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The owners were so helpful and respectful of our privacy. I would highly recommend staying here if in the yipsalanti area, it was so close to Ann Arbor and all of the places we needed to go to.

Great place to stay!

The bed was super comfy and Sam put a lot of thought and care into stocking the space to meet all the needs for my trip. Even without a full kitchen, I was easily able to prepare simple healthy meals for myself. Check in was a breeze and Sam was very responsive to communication. I would absolutely stay here again!

Just what I needed!

Very clean room with everything I needed. Very comfortable bed and several thoughtful items available in the room. It was comfortable and inviting and exactly what I needed to relax after a long day.

As advertised

The room was clean and loaded. Enough amenities to stay for several days. Tiny table with chairs, refrigerator, coffee, and it was very and comfortable.

This accomodation appears to be a mother in law suite that has been blocked from the house and rerouted through the garage. The hosts have thoughtfully provided for your needs with coffee machine, hot water kettle ,etc. and they were welcoming. We did hear a lot of squeaky floor foot steps from above. It was clean and well maintained and the neighborhood was quiet.

Cute property!

The host has put a lot of thought and effort into making the suite comfortable. The furnishings are beautiful, updated, and functional.There's a fridge/freezer, microwave, Keurig, electric kettle, toaster oven, and dishes/cutlery, so I was able to store and reheat the prepared meals I'd packed. While the suite is attached to the main house, the host has made every effort to make it private, including putting dividers in the garage to form a walkway to the suite's entrance. I enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely book again when I'm in the area.

cozy room

I think that the ramp covering the steps should be removed, it gives as you walk on it. The fact that the door has no way to lock it when you leave seemed odd to me. I guess the thinking is that with the garage door shut no one could get in and I guess that is true. It just felt odd. The place was clean and comfortable.

We appreciate your feedback. The door does lock. The passcode to lock was sent prior to check-in. The ramp can accommodate up to 600lbs but we’ll definitely look into it. Thanks again for staying with us! Thanks again!

Compact space with necessities

This space is accessed through the owner’s garage. It is technically a private space, though in what used to be a doorway connecting to the house, there is a makeshift “wall” made of sound proofing tiles. It does not sound proof. Pros: The space was clean, the bed was comfortable, there were amenities like an air purifier, large TV, fan options, cooking appliances, and our host was prompt with communication. Cons: Noise from host’s adjoining space. We also dealt with noise and commotion from a construction project in the backyard. Also, it’s just very small. Overall, we would choose a different option for the amount paid, but it was ok for 1 night, and the host was great.

It's a small room, but has a bed, mini fridge, coffee machine, microwave and a chair. The beddroom was clean and you access the room from the garage. I would have given 5 stars if the shower didn't have the mold and we were given the correct address when we checked in. The room is not in Ypsilanti, it is in Superior Charter Township. The parking instructions said to park on a side street that was unlit which we were not comfortable with so we parked in front of the house. The shower head had mold all around it.
