Peaceful Property

This is a beautiful home in the country but not far too far off the beaten path. It is quiet and peaceful with the added benefit of the sheep next door being a "security alarm" as they like to talk to people. They are friendly and it was enjoyable to go to feed them. The other bonus is the farm kitty who greets you at the door and walks the property with you. The home was clean and the property owner was quick in responding to questions. The only major improvements for us would be mattress upgrades and a variety of mattress types/firmness in the smaller rooms.

Super relaxing and comfortable

This home is a wonderful place to stay! The home itself is spacious and welcoming. The views are beautiful. The location is peaceful and relaxing, birds singing, animal life friendly, and just a great experience. We would not hesitate to request to stay again in the future. Owner is extremely generous, accommodating, and professional. We give this home our highest recommendation and rating.

Family Time

Our family stayed here to attend our youngest daughters graduation from WVU. We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect and the view was beautiful.

Fresh air and tranquility

As advertised. Only about 30 minutes south of the city and about 5 minutes from local shopping and restaurants but you feel like you're on a 1000 acre pasture in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful colonial surroundings. Sonya thought of everything and makes sure you have everything you need. The house has that and more. We spent most of our time while at the house gathering and playing games in the bonus room. The house is perfect !

Family get-together

Property was exactly as described, very serene country setting, but within 10 minutes of anything you might need. Sonya answered any questions we had promptly. A nice place for a family get-together.

Wonderful Property

Great location to get together with family for the holidays! The great room/bar was the perfect area to hang out in! The host was very responsive when we contacted her. Booking again as we all enjoyed our stay here.

Girls weekend

The house was amazing. It was everything and more than we expected. We really enjoyed all the animals. Shopping and restaurants in the area were nice and convenient. We really had a nice time.

Great property and great area

The house was better than we expected with lots of space and a cool set up in the living area with the bar! The neighborhood is really quiet and nice and a short 8 min drive to lots of food and shopping places. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Birthday Celebration

A great place to stay! Close to Pittsburgh to go see the sights. This property and its views are amazing. The home is well stocked with all you need for your stay. We highly recommend this property! We will definitely Che k availability when we go back to the area.

Great place to relax and reconnect!

Incredible place! No picture can do the beautiful property justice. The house was generously equipped with everything we needed including a variety of coffee choices, paper products, cleaning products, etc. Every detail was thought of and covered. We loved it and highly recommend it for a family get away!

Private Scenic Retreat with the Comforts of Updated Luxury!

Our family of five (kids ages 11 and 10) had a wonderful stay! Some highlights of our stay were the beautiful great room with fireplace, bar, reclining sofa chairs, and vaulted ceiling. The updated master bedroom and bathroom were a spacious and luxurious spot to wind down after a busy day. The property is close to lots of options for dining and shopping and minutes away from access to interstates heading toward Pittsburgh attractions or beyond. The kitchen is fully stocked- including a coffee and tea bar, and overlooks the rolling green of the property and neighboring farm. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck off of the kitchen and an evening meal on the deck off of the great room- lots of options for outdoor relaxation. Host Sonya is very responsive and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Total relaxation!!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this home. All of the beds and linens were wonderful. Such a quiet and peaceful location yet close to Everything. If we are ever in this area again, this would be my go to home to rent over and over. Sonya Was very much an attentive host And immediately took care of a few issues we had. Our dog absolutely Loved the yard as well as the teenagers. Highly recommend this location if you’re Going anywhere in South West PA. We just can’t say enough good things about our host and Her home. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful, relaxing home. Looking forward to another visit.
