Located in the beautiful hilltop area of Portsmouth, this cottage is perfect for a quiet stay. Just minutes from both SOMC and KDMC and 5 minutes from the historic downtown Boneyfiddle area, floodwall murals, Shawnee State University and the Ohio river. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. A bamboo grove uniquely lines the backyard making it a perfect "Panda Palace". Fur babies welcome!

I stay here often and love the convenience and cleanliness of the property. My experience with VRBO is dubious at best but this property has redeemed my faith in VRBO. I'm in the area for 8 months and would stay here the entire time if it were available. The hostess is wonderful and always available day or night. The house is on a family friendly street with neighbors who take care of their property and offer help if needed. Great place, highly recommend.

We have stayed here a few times. Always clean and ready for us. The owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. We will stay again when in town.

We enjoyed the Panda Palace so much. It's a wonderful place! My husband and geriatric chihuahua mix had everything we needed to be comfortable. Courtney was patient, friendly, and attentive to our inquiries ahead time as well as during our 2-night stay. The house is comfortable and clean, well appointed in all spaces including kitchen, bath, and bedroom (we only used one of the bedrooms/bed for sleeping (we put all of pur belongings in the other upstairs room which was a plus) but matress was nice and comfy. Loved the cute, quiet backyard. Such a lovely neighborhood for walking the pup too. If we ever return to the area, the Panda Palace will be our lodging for sure. Highly recommend!

This is a great house in a wonderful location. I travel for work and this place is less than a mile from the hospital. I could even walk there if the weather was too bad to drive. It is well appointed with everything I need to function away from home. It's very clean and tidy, on a quiet street with great neighbors who still look out for each other. It has a nice backyard for the dog and the streets in the neighborhood have sidewalks so it's easy to take walks safely. The hostess is the best I have ever rented from. She's always responsive and checking in to see if I have everything I need. I stay here often and highly recommend.

Perfect for our hometown visit

The Panda House was a perfect choice for our stay. Only a mile from all our in-town destinations, and only a few miles from most other necessities (grocery, food, restaurants). Will be our go to here on out.

Lovely, quaint inviting home.

Grew up in Portsmouth and came home for a family members funeral. A lovely home and great neighborhood to rest and relax. I will definitely recommend Panda House.
