Kravitz-port gives you a sea level view to a Northwest Oyster farm. At high tide, fish right from the deck or fly fish at the waters edge. Skookum is the best for Kayaking. The inlet is a wildlife refuge to seals, eagles, otters, birds of all kinds spotted in their natural habitat. Spacious common spaces inside and out for all your entertaining needs. The variety of deck spaces (covered and non covered) lounging areas accomodate adults and kids of all ages. Inside you'll find wide open views from every room through the large windows and 14 foot ceilings! The main level bedrooms are very private and cozy. The 3rd is in the loft with a huge king bed and a trundle that sleeps 2. The views are unbeatable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of! The laundry room has all your pets needs stocked along with your coffee!

Great location. Room for all. Main floor beds were questionable though.

This property was beautiful. The inside of the house very tastefully decorated. The owner definitely has an eye for decor. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities, it even had a waffle maker Visiting from the East Coast, it was nice that beach towels were provided, as well as games and puzzles. One less thing for us to pack or buy. The wall of windows allowed for beautiful views of the water. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. The deck had ample space for relaxing and taking in the views. Many an Iced coffee was enjoyed on this deck. My family thoroughly enjoyed every minute at this property. I would definitely recommend a stay.

Enjoyable stay

Beautiful views of the water, room for 6 adults, well appointed, we had everything we needed. We used the outdoor fire pit in the evening, and found a few nice hikes in the area. My only complaint was the level bed mattresses were a bit too soft me, but otherwise, everything was perfect.

The house was gorgeous and the location excellent. The kitchen was the best equipped one I’ve experienced in the years of staying in vacation rentals. It was very hot during parts of our stay but the house stayed cool. The only thing missing for us, all book readers, were reading lights in the living room. Will be coming back to this house for sure.

Relaxing

Sitting out on the deck and listening to silence was blissful. Kayaking and swimming. Bring watersocks.

Serene beach house that has it all

Extremely clean, comfortable home with cabin feel. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bedds were so comfy. View was amazing. We saw a doe with her two fawns, a sea otter and juvenile eagle. Quiet surroundings and lots of places to sit outside.

Quiet getaway with gorgeous view

Very convenient location - close to towns but far away enough to enjoy a quiet vacation. Seals, otters and bold eagles are frequent sight. The kitchen is one of the most equipped we've ever experienced. The house is clean with no pet smell. Central AC is a bonus. We stayed very cool and comfortable over this unusually warm weekend. Recommend.

We spent 10 delightful days at the Kravitz-Port house in June. It was so quiet and restful there. The cabin is very spacious, very knotty-piney, clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms had lots of storage, the laundry was stocked with detergent pods. Lots of all kinds of supplies so that nothing else was needed. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, dinnerware, plates, cups and glasses. Probably the only missing kitchen item was a small frying pan for frying a couple of eggs. However, bonuses were the rotating waffle maker (with Krusteaz pancake flour supplied - YUM!) and the George Foreman grille. There was also a charcoal and gas grill outside. The beach at the cabin is all pebble and access is restricted somewhat because a commercial oyster and clam operation takes place on the low tide part of the beach. It was really fun watching the gathering of bags and bags of clams and oysters right in front of us. As a result, access to the water is limited to mid to high tide and no clam or oyster gathering is allowed (but it is allowed some other local places). There is lots of wildlife to view right off the deck. We saw three does with their very young fawns, raccoons, ground squirrels, a mother duck with 15 ducklings, hummingbirds, diving ducks, and a bald eagle. Surprisingly no mosquitoes and few flies. Great to sit outside and enjoy it all.If this sounds like your kind of place we would highly recommend it.
