This is a lovely farmhouse experience. Gorgeous high ceilings, wide plank wood floors - and modern updates as well. Clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Our family enjoyed a long, relaxing weekend getaway. The farmhouse is quite charming and the amenities are plenty. The property is quite large with several outdoor sitting areas. The owners are thoughtful in providing sufficient kitchen items and games for all ages. We loved playing Pictionary!

Perfect Stay for Our Son’s Wedding Weekend!We booked this property for our son’s wedding weekend, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations.From the moment we arrived, the convenience factor was a 10/10. The home was stocked with absolutely every amenity we could have possibly needed, which completely took the stress out of our travel and preparation.The absolute highlight for us was the incredible space available for the bride to get ready. It was spacious, bright, and made the pre-wedding prep a beautiful, relaxed experience. On top of that, the property has so many cool, unique backdrops that we were able to capture stunning photo ops right on-site.If you are looking for a flawless, stress-free, and beautiful place to stay, this is it. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Had a fantastic stay at Anita’s property! The home is in excellent shape, very comfortable, had everything we needed and is in a great, peaceful location. Anita was very responsive and happy to help with any questions we had. Would absolutely stay here again.

Family Getaway to Covered Bridge Festival

Our stay was amazing! We enjoyed the peaceful setting of this beautiful farmhouse with a neat history. We highly recommend this place to all looking for comfort and a great place to stay for your family and friends.

This was our second stay and it was wonderful once again! The house is beautiful and peaceful. Everything you need is there. Anita is a wonderful host. We had a very minor issue and Anita handled it immediately. We will stay again.

Ladies trip

We had 7 people stay for 2 nights. The home check in process was easy. The owner was easy to communicate with. A lot of special touches, it felt like home!

Fantastic property and they thought of everything! From blankets and games to a fully stocked first aid kit and a box of spices for cooking! The house and grounds are beautiful! It’s out in the country and the stars are stunning! Good communication and great that they use codes for the doors so as different members of our family came and went at different times they were all able to get in. It made the perfect home base for us all to my daughter’s wedding! We’ve even talked about renting it again some year for Christmas!

A group of 7 adults stayed here for a family wedding. Beautiful setting and a house full of charm yous expect in an old farm house. Not a great spot if anyone in your party has difficulty with steps!

Peace and Quiet Close to Bridgefest

Wonderfully restored and updated old farmhouse! Love the preserved history and the restoration. Nicely decorated, well furnished with everything you need. Plenty of room for everyone. This property is just a few minutes from several covered bridges and fall festivities but is very peaceful and quiet. Nice fall foliage all around.

What a farmhouse should be; turkeys, deer, coyotes, wildflowers a plenty, and lots of birds. One field had beans planted early. Peaceful walks in the countryside

Beautiful, Clean Home

The home is absolutely beautiful, everything was in good working order, the beds were comfortable, it was clean, and the owner responded promptly when contacted. The only issue was one of the people in our party could not locate the property so we went and found them. We will definitely consider staying again.

Weekend Family Vacation at Turkey Run

Our family (8 adults) enjoyed a fabulous stay at the 1896 Farmhouse over a weekend. We chose this property because it was close to Turkey Run, where we went hiking and kayaking for a couple days. The home was beautiful, clean and charming. We enjoyed the campfire pit in the yard where we roasted brats and marshmallows for s’mores. Anita was an excellent communicator. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend. If you intend to work there at all, you may want to inquire about wifi / internet connection.

We had such a great stay at this charming 1896 farmhouse! It’s super spacious, quiet, and perfect for our outing with family. The kitchen had everything we needed—both a coffee pot and Keurig with plenty of coffee and tea, which was a nice touch. We loved swinging on the front porch under the stars while Barry Manilow played on the vintage record player (yes, we really did this!)The beds were comfy, the towels were soft, and everything was clean and smelled great. The wide staircase upstairs and all the little vintage details gave it so much character.Our host was great and the property was just as listed. The house is still being restored, so just a heads-up: the main bedroom downstairs has open rafters (no ceiling yet), and the concrete steps leading to the side kitchen door can be a little tricky, so watch your step.All in all, it was a cozy, peaceful getaway and a great spot to relax and breathe in some fresh country air. We’d definitely come back!
