Home was very comfortable and made you feel at home. Beautiful lake view. Communication with owner was very easy. Definitely a great spot on Jackson Lake.

The was an excellent experience. The host was available to answer any questions that I had in a timely manner. The home had large rooms, nicely and was extremely clean. The fully equipped kitchen was so spacious and had everything we needed. The location was very quite and the lake view was beautiful. My family was holding a reunion at Indian Springs State Park and this was a great place for my oldest brother, youngest sister, myself and our families to stay.Frank's Resturant was close by and offered and great menu. The food was delicious.I definitely would recommend this property and would book it again.

Tge view of the lake is so great. The house was nice and the area was peaceful. There was a great restaurant very close called Frank's.

The house was very clean and had everything that you needed . The host was careful and had good communication with us. Beautiful lake view and we really enjoyed our trip and would recommend it anyone that would like a peaceful visit.

This is a beautiful and spacious home. My grandchildren loved the ping-pong and pool tables as well as fishing from the dock and watching the boats go by.

It was amazing. A few of us stayed at the lake house but family came throughout the weekend and had a fantastic time. Memories we will have forever.

Beautiful home on the lake! They have everything you need to enjoy a stay on the lake. I wish we had more time to spend enjoying all they have to offer. Very spacious and comfortable! It is very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive to all my questions and messages. I would 100% recommend staying here if in the area! Absolutely family friendly!

Lakefront Getaway

My friends and I enjoyed this beautiful home on Lake Jackson. The house was warm and inviting. The hosts were very considerate and accommodating. We hope to come back again!

New Rocky Creek Camp Meeting/ Friends

Wonderful place to stay. Very peaceful and beautiful. Guys fished, while Ladies visited Monticello one day. Information booklet was very appreciated and helpful. Thank you to the Johns Family for your hospitality.

This was the most amazing house and property that we have ever stayed at on lake Jackson, my wife and I have agreed that we will book now for next year just so we can experience the beautiful place year after year

Great family vacation

The house had plenty of space and was the perfect location. It was convenient to local stores, easy to get to but also a great location on the lake. The available water boat float and kayaks were a huge plus and thoroughly enjoyed. However, some of the water toys were outdated and non-working. We would definitely book again!

Wonderful home!

We have stayed here twice now & both visits were amazing! The host is so warm, personable, responds quickly, & great to work with! The home is so unique & fits our needs well. The aesthetic of the house is nostalgic & the two living rooms were a lifesaver! Thank you again Johns family for opening up your beautiful home-we can’t wait until next time!

Great get away gor the family'

We arrived Friday afternoon. Booked till Monday but left Sunday evening. Enjoyed the lake as we use to live on it but sold our home last year. This house offered so much room. We had two boats offered adequate parking and swimming. Fishing was great. Thanks agsin

Exceptional host, easy to work with and quick to respond. Everything about this property stood out to us. Fall decorations both inside and out.Ground level entrance! Welcome basket with lots of goodies.Extra Large well stocked kitchen-lComfy beds with nice sheets, and tvs everywhere,Name brand toilet paper with plentiful inventory on site. Extra refrigerators in garage were huge help for meal prep. Thank you Gentry! Our family hopes to visit again soon! Best, Robin Cannon

Absolutely perfect

This was our first VRBO booking and it exceeded our expectations. I’ve never stayed in any type of property that made me feel 100% at home from nearly the moment I walked in the door. The house is warm, cozy and inviting. I loved being able to gaze at the water while relaxing on the couch and having the water close was so convenient. The owners are incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with. The kids were begging to book another trip back before we even left!

The lake house was very comfortable and adequate for 7 people. A few stipulations that I received after booking and payment was a surprise. It stated restrictions on number of vehicles and people allowed on the property at any one time. This did not affect us but it may some groups. The lake view is great. The upper deck was like sitting in a tree with birds! They were very close and really fun to watch. The walk to the lake could be hard for older adults. It a bit steep. We rented a pontoon boat from Jackson Lake Rentals for the weekend and it was a prefect addition to the weekend. The only draw back I experienced was with cooking pots and pans being large enough. The home is equipped with gravity feed drinking water which was very nice. This home also offers kurig and traditional coffee pots. Overall wonderful home and weekend

Thank you for the detailed review, Terri. We’ll certainly take a look at adding some larger pots and pans. As for the number of people on the property and cars, we do have a maximum number of cars listed under the policies section. Our apologies if you were caught off guard in any way. We try to be as up front as possible.
