We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at the Lily Pad. The cabin was spotless and location was very quiet and peaceful. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. This location has the great mix of a country feel with easy access to downtown Pittsburgh. The drive to PNC Park on the North Shore is just a little over 35 minutes. Plenty of great restaurant options nearby and the must-visit Trax Farm is less than two minutes away. Great place to stay.

Loved Our Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the LILY PAD Cabin! The cabin was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and full of character. The setting was peaceful and picturesque, with a lovely view overlooking a small pond right on the property. Our 2-year-old especially enjoyed watching the pond and exploring the outdoor space. The host were very accommodating! It was the perfect relaxing getaway for our family. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Wonderful place.

Cabin is exactly as advertised. Very clean. Quiet relaxing atmosphere. Porch overlooks lily pond. Location is great. Owners on site and respond quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. Great hospitality from owners. My new go to place when I travel to PA.

The cabbin was well maintained, clean, and nicely decorated. The area around the cabin was well maintained, quiet and peaceful. The owner put in the extra effort to make sure your stay was nice.

An amazing and quiet getaway

This little cabin is absolutely amazing, it stayed cool inside despite it being almost 100 outside, the view was absolutely amazing and the hosts were very friendly and attentive, the space was very cozy and inviting, and the surrounding area was very beautiful, we loved the quaint and relaxing atmosphere, the pond and firepit were very nice and the whole experience was absolutely out of this world, we will definitely be returning in the fall, over all I will give this place a 10/10 on everything from atmosphere to fun. Its very quiet despite being minutes from the road and great for nature loving people, so for a quick getaway or a fun little vacation this little cabin should be put at the top of the list, as well as the proceeds going to help animals in need, who could ask for a better experience, our anniversary was definitely an amazing one and we loved every minute the hosts were amazing and we couldnt ask for more

Quiet, lovely retreat!

Wonderful stay while at a friend's wedding, peaceful greenery everywhere. Super clean and lovely host. Highly recommend it if you want to get away from the city!

Right at home!

We immediately felt right at home in our cozy cabin. The apartment had everything we needed plus a lovely porch for enjoying that morning coffee. The hosts were attentive, and helpful - suggesting ways to enjoy the area. It was a great homebase for our weekend wedding with friends. We would definitely stay again.

Oasis outside of Pittsburgh

Awesome cabin with everything you need, great view, serene setting, wildlife, and just 11 miles from Pittsburgh. We had a wonderful time and will come back.

We spent 14 days here visiting family and just enjoying the fall season. Tammy and Floyd were exceptional hosts and we really enjoyed talking and visiting with them. Accommodations were wonderful. The place is very nice and secluded but close to a lot of stuff. Would highly recommend staying there.

Class Reunion

Lily Pad was great! It was perfect for our purpose. Particularly loved the front porch in the mornings and evenings. Wonderful location, and being so close to Trax Farm is a real plus. Owners are the best.

Wonderful Cabin

We so enjoyed our time at the Lily Pad over the holidays! This adorable cabin is perfectly set up for comfort and convenience. Our family loved the lay out and amenities and location. The furniture is very comfortable and the cabin is clean. Tammy was a lovely host and we will definitely return to this gem of a place outside of Pittsburgh.

Weekend Getaway

It was the perfect weekend getaway! We loved the closeness of the trolley and the Trax farm. The cabin was so cozy. Tammy and Floyd are wonderful hosts. Happy to help us anytime we had a question. I highly recommend this adorable cabin:)

Perfect little cabin. :)

Wanted to stay in a small cabin close to Pittsburg for our first trip to the city. This was absolutely perfect. We loved the warm charm and decor of the Lilly Pad !! In addition it was reasonably priced. Thanks again Tammy and Floyd !! :)

Cozy getaway

Couldn’t ask for more! Log cabin set in the pastoral hills of Pittsburgh yet close to restaurants, Trax Farm and street car stop. Wanted a place to Finleyville for a family reunion and visiting some Pittsburgh sites. This was perfect. Tammy and Floyd are great hosts and have thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

Wonderful Getaway Experience

We had an awesome time at The Lilypad! The hosts were friendly and attentive, the cabin was beautiful and clean, and the outdoor area was very peaceful. We enjoyed making a campfire at the fire pit and sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch looking out at the scenic view. We took the trolley train into Pittsburgh which was a fun experience. The station was only a few minutes away and had free parking. The Lilypad couldn't have been a more perfect place for us to stay, and it had everything needed. We definitely recommend staying here! Thanks to the hosts for everything!

Making Memories

We had a great time at the Lily Pad. It was just perfect for the two us to use as a base for visiting family in the surrounding area. It was quite comfortable and in a beautiful country setting. Even though it has a country feel and is located in a somewhat rural area, there were several great restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store and, of course, Trax farm. The train stop is about a 2 minute drive away for easy access to downtown Pittsburgh. We saw plenty of deer in the fields and we were able to host a smores night around the fire pit one evening for the little ones. They had a great time. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
