Definitely a nice neighborhood to be in! It definitely feels like a mother-in-law suite, in its separate location than the main home, that they converted to a private residence for rental. It is a little older, but in good condition. If you’re wanting a full kitchen, that is not what it has. It has a kitchenette. However, if you’re there and just need a nice and safe place to stay for a few days, this is definitely the place to go. It was very, very easy to check-in and extremely easy to checkout!

Very cozy. Close to all locations and activities around Jackson. Street was so quiet and the neighbors in neighborhood were polite.

Awesome Stay

The area was a very nice and quiet area. The place was very clean and felt really homey. I would definitely recommend the stay. The host was very welcoming.

Accurate description of house and interior, very clean and honestly such a cute place to stay…only complaint I had was the STRONG marijuana smell that the host claims is from the neighbors smoking outside however…there was no marijuana smell outside the house upon arrival and during our stay……we could not get the smell out of the house with candles or deodorant room sprays. My second complaint was the surprise roof dripping at 1:30am. There was a sizable puddle at the foot of the bed and the bed frame was soaked. I wanted a refund for the next two nights I would be staying due to these issues but ended up staying due to the cat allergy my partner has and the lack of finances to find something else at the moment. Over all I like the place but not exactly how the host handled the problems that arose and felt brushed off as well as lack of accountability. Will never be back.

Unfortunately the reservation did not meet your needs despite all the effort. The roof does not leak, it was due to blockage from the airconditioner drain pipe and was fixed immediately when reported. I never noticed any smoke smell during check in maintenance, and like you said, there was no smoke smell during your stay!

Ckeckin says 2 didnt get to checkin till 3:15.Host was very nice.

Great little place!

The property was great. The neighborhood was quiet and we didnt have any issues! Would book again if in the area again! Thank you for a great weekend!

Good and Safe Place to Stay

I stayed one night and I had a positive experience. The place was clean and seemed to be in a safe/quiet neighborhood. It’s small but that was perfect for my needs as I was traveling by myself. Two people could be comfortable but three might be stretching it since there’s only 1 bed. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay there again.

Wonderful rental!!

Stayed for brother’s graduation from medical school. Rental was super clean. Exactly as described in listing. Owner lives on site and is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again if needing a place to stay when traveling to Jackson.

We arrived with no contact reply from your host until 2 hours after arriving. The place was filthy from the previous guest. I took pictures told the host of my problems. They seemed unconcerned with the situation. So I had to go downtown Jackson for a room at the hton

Place was OK. Alright for just passing through, not a stay in the area. Why the low rating, because the Host had the property listed for sleeping 3 people. When we got there, it only had one queen size bed, which was listed as such in the ad. So we believed the small sofa pulled out to sleep the third person. It didn’t. Wrongly advertised. We told Host that the place was OK but that it wouldn’t work for us so we had to find a different place that would be suitable for 3 people. If there was a way to get at least a partial refund, that would be great. I mentioned they didn’t have to do it because it all went through Vrbo. She fired back and said not to be inconsiderate and they could give me an air mattress. I did not pay for an air mattress for my third family member to sleep on. I told her we would simply find something suitable for our family and that maybe the online add should reflect appropriately. This is where I lost any respect. Had they told me that they understood and that it was simply a mistake on their part, I would have had no issues. However, they deceitfully went online and “CHANGED” the ad and said I was wrong. That it said it only sleeps 2 and it advertises only one queen bed. Fortunately I took screen shots of ad before they changed it. That indicates deceit and I don’t deal with deceitful people. Shows they care about a “buck” rather than providing a good service. Now trying to resolve issue with Vrbo because will get nowhere with host. Don’t recommend.

For all guests, please note this, Guest read that only 2 adults limitation and a child is allowed in this listing, 3 guests does not mean three adults, There is a limitation of 2 adults per the listing. We have always hosted maximum of two guests and sometimes provide additional airbed just to accommodate a child if needed but that would not work for this guest. This home has a living room and a bedroom with queen size bed as advertised, hosting a 3 guest which supposedly includes a child is a bonus. This guest attempts of changing the reservation date two days before didn’t work well as expected due to tight booking schedule and retaliation is not the solution. We encourage all guest to please read listing descriptions and ask questions to be certain before booking.
