It’s such a cute little place. Bed was very comfortable. Place was clean. My second time staying here. Would stay here again.

Short stay

The cozy cabin is a great spot for us to stay for our visits back to see family and the surrounding property is beautiful.

Country Stay

The owners were delightful and helpful. It was a quiet area. The house was a bit dated. The kitchen sink faucet was hard to maneuver, handle kept hitting the wall behind. Mini-split A/C was comfortable, bed was really nice and Kolbe might consider taking old window A/C's out and then furniture could be arranged better to make more roomy. Kolbe and his family help make our stay quiet and comfortable. Thanks for your hospitality

Great, quiet cabin

This was our second stay at this cabin. It’s very quiet and cozy. Love the wildlife there too! Easy communication with the owners as well.

Fishing trip to lake Fayette

The property was perfect for our needs. I really don't care for hotels when travelling wih my boat. The cabin has everything you might need for your stay. Its quiet and relaxing but close to town for quick rides to the store or restaurant. Kolbe is the most responsive host I've ever dealt with. Answers to questions were received in less than 30 min even before I booked my stay. We'll be staying here again in the future.

Comfy & Cozy

This little cabin is so cute, comfy and cozy! The beds were so comfortable. Everything was so nicely decorated, organized and absolutely perfect for our overnight stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Quiet and relaxing

Cute lil place

Rental was exactly as described. Was a bit closer to the main house than expected, but otherwise great. Property was well kept and saw deer in the morning in the woods. Gate entry was very ornate and beautiful.

Perfect Girls Weekend

My daughter and I brought my mom for Roundtop Weekend and we had the best time!! The cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean, had the right amount of space for the three of us, and was located close enough to roundtop that we didn’t have to drive far but far enough away that we were with the big crowds. We really had the best girls weekend. Thank you!

Nice place

Nice place. Need some improvements on quality of bed and necessities to clean up kitchen. It was quiet and isolated. Host lives right next door but you don’t even know they are there.

A weekend getaway and friend’s wedding.

We stayed at this adorable cabin as a weekend getaway and to attend a wedding. We had mutual friends who stayed in Hotels for the same wedding and our experience was totally different from theirs. The cabin was close enough to town that we didn’t miss any of the events and activities and far enough away to be secluded and very very quiet. It was wonderful and extremely comfortable.

Quiet, Clean, Adequate for 2

Myself & mom choose this place because of closeness to relatives we were visiting. The home was very clean, queen bed comfy. Mom slept in bunk, which is really meant for kids, but she's short so it worked. If you plan to cook, there is only 1 fry pan, 1 sauce pan, 1 cookie sheet & 1 spatula. There are no sharp knives, only 2 butter knives & 4-6 spoons & forks. No baking dishes & only 1 hot pad. No toaster & a mini microwave. The fridge is slightly smaller than what you find in a hotel so you're not going to be able to keep much in it. Freezer space is a about 3" high so not good for much. Overall it worked for the 2 of us & was convenient to our relatives we were visiting. It was nice sitting on the back porch & watching the deer & you can walk the path around the property. It took a little bit to figure out the lights. A couple switches turn them all on or all off (including the living room & bedroom at the same time). It is close to the main house, but you don't even know they are there. If you're looking for a quiet place to sleep & not do much for making meals, this is good. We would stay here again when we visit our relatives, but would not if we were here for a vacation & wanted to make meals.

Great location! The hosts are very helpful and easy to be in contact with. Check in was extremely easy and their directions are accurate and easy to follow to find their property and where to park, etc. on property.Beds are comfortable, WiFi is available and fast, quiet and safe location, property is beautiful, loved having the deer feeder in view of the cabin- got to see some deer eating in the morning and at night. It was 7 minutes from the wedding we attended and tucked far enough back from 153 there was not road noise for us- despite it being not very far down 153.We would come back and stay again if it’s available when we come and see family again.Thank you for the great stay!

The house is very clean, cute, and well equipped. We were glad for the coffeemaker and the mini fridge, as well as the powerful AC units. The main bed was comfy, 8/10, and the bunk bed was alright, 4/10 (my only gripe). The property is beautiful, and I loved sitting out on the covered porch while it was raining. The rental is about 15 minutes from La Grange, which was nice. We had everything we needed, felt safe, and enjoyed all the pine trees. The host was also the perfect mix of communicative via the app, and hands-off in person. Will absolutely check this place first when I next come back into town.
