Due to narrow dead end road and as a courtesy to my neighbors, the Rental agreement is for booked guest ONLY and their vehicles.

Amazing!

The property and home were wonderful!! Very peaceful and I enjoyed having coffee with their livestock! Definitely would stay again if in the area! Thank you for allowing us in your home!

We absolutely loved everything about the place. The house the area the scenery absolutely everything except the weather which I can't blame vrbo or the host for it is my plan to visit again hopefully in much warmer weather!!

Pictures definitely do not do justice to this beautiful home. The area is beautiful and serene, and the house is decorated to perfectly reflect the history of the area. The host was extremely welcoming, and accepted our reservation for Christmas on extremely short notice. We got to have Christmas with our children for the first time since we moved to Georgia, and definitely made some lasting memories here!

Amazing home, and surrounding farm and incredible views of the mountains. Harold was a great host, and shared stories abound the house he was born in. We enjoyed the sunrises over the mountain. Thanks for sharing

Quaint Stay!

This property is so beautiful and "homey"!! You can tell it has been well loved and maintained for decades. It is like stepping back in time! Immaculate, comfortable, great communication with property owners. We will be back!

Home Away From Home

I was in town for a funeral and Harold’s place was absolutely perfect! The house was spotless and the bed and furniture were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. I loved sitting on the front porch in the mornings with my coffee and listening to the cows - not something this city girl gets to experience very often. When I am back in town to visit family I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Harold!

Excellent Host and Property

The property is at the end of a private road. There are neighbors but it is still very quiet and peaceful. The host answered many questions we had about the area and the local flora. The property is clean and well furnished. We enjoyed sitting on the porch each night watching the bluebirds and other wildlife.

Relaxing and peaceful!!!!

Very lovely! Nooks and crannies everywhere around the property outside. I think we only turned the tv on late at night twice while we were there. Outside the rest of the time. Did biking at Cumberland Gap and other parks! Will stay again!

Peaceful home

The property was peaceful and the home was beautiful with many unique decorations. It was spacious enough to spread out but cozy enough to be together in the living room or on the front porch. Definitely recommend! The kids enjoyed the cows! Harold was a gracious host although we did not have to ask for anything!

Quiet and nice resting place

Property was comfortable, roomy and well furnished. Nothing was missing. Everything was working fine, no issue what so ever. Owner was very responsive. A nice porch was availble for our morning coffee and apéro! Neighbourhood is very quiet and close to foodmarket. Very enjoyable place.

Mountain Getaway

Excellent location to relax after riding the roads in the mountains. The house is very comfortable, tastefully decorated with antiques and vintage items. Lots of room! We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching bluebirds and pileated woodpeckers in the mornings and evenings. Our host was very communicative and friendly, sorry we did not get a chance to meet. Would definitely stay again! Loved the setting!!

Home Away from Home

I brought my elderly father to visit with family and his ailing sister. We have traditionally stayed with my aunt when visiting. Due to her health we needed a new option. Harold’s Home Place was perfect for us! All the comforts of home! My dad was born and raised in the area. He loved the mountain views, farm next door, and beautiful antiques throughout the home. We will be back!

Restful and relaxing

The house is large and beautiful. Plenty of room for relaxing. This our second time staying at Harold's home. The home is located out in the country. Next to cow pastures. We had the cows come to our area so we could see them grazing. Plus being in the country we saw other wildlife. Ground hogs, deer, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks and even a turtle. On the ride we saw deer in the fields. Thank you, Harold for renting your home to us.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. It was spacious, clean and made you feel at home. The host Harold was great, very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place for anyone staying in that area.

This house was perfect. The house was at the end of a driveway and was very quiet. The turkey, deer and cows were fun to watch. Would definitely like to stay there again if we are in that area. The house was very clean and comfortable and homey. We’re able to see some of the mountains. And yet, not far from town if anything was needed.
