Great piece of property we had everything we needed to start our vacation. Gwen was very helpful with our check in easy to get ahold of. the house is everything you see in the pictures plus.the pool we want to take home with us.major stores about 20 minutes away which makes it convenient. If we are ever in the area again we will not hesitate to book!

The property was perfect for our family. We were traveling with our children, granddaughter’s and 2 dogs. Everyone loved the place including the dogs because there was a fenced yard and plenty of room to run around. The pool and home was amazing and we had everything we needed and lots of privacy.

We had a great stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check in and communication easy. The space worked perfectly for our needs, and the location was convenient. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great, quiet place to stay. Away from all the noise and traffic, but only 20 minutes from anything you could want. Loved the pool and backyard. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

The property was beautiful. The pool was amazing. We loved getting to come back to the quiet seclusion of the area after spending a day in the hustle of orlando or tampa to swim and relax in the quiet.

Wonderful experience!

We loved this property and wish we could've stayed longer! The dogs loved the space to run, the kids loved the playground. Overall it was a lovely little getaway

This cute modern country home was perfect for our visit to Polk City. The host was super responsive, the property was clean and modern and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Nice vacation rental

Very nice rental house with a great kitchen set up with plenty of room for the 6 of us. Strangely it was too cold to enjoy the pool since the temperature was only in the 50's. Country living, but close drive to most anything for shopping and attractions. Would stay again.

Home away from home

We absolutely loved this home. If your looking to escape the everyday life thos the perfect getaway. The host leaves nothing for you to think about. Just pack your clothes and enjoy your stay. If your looking for silence this hoise is your answer.

Out of the way place

Overall the house was clean and comfortable. Quite a drive just to get from the house to I-4. If you want to get away from everything for a while, this is the place to stay! The dishwasher was very handy! Washer/dryer were easy to use. The pool can be heated upon request.

Nice and quiet

Our vacation included trips to some big attractions and this house was the perfect place to unwind and relax. Bedrooms were nice, kitchen was great, and the roomy living room furniture was a nice bonus. The best part was that pool though! The waterfall and lights for night swimming made for perfect family time. My only notes for improvement would be that the master bed seemed to slope to the middle a bit (maybe a support issue?), there weren’t any lamps by the bedside for evening reading, and end tables in the living area would be a nice addition. All in all a great spot for families, and certainly made for a nice vacation for ours.

Nice space for quiet stay but fairly close to many activities

We enjoyed our time in this house. It is quiet and remote, but close to activities in Lakeland, Auburndale, and Winter Haven. We especially enjoyed the Frank Lloyd Wright tour at Florida Southern College and Bonnet Springs Park. We stayed here for a month as a midpoint to visit friends on both the east and west coast. It worked well, but Florida traffic is what it is, so if you plan that, or Disney, you are wise to allow ample time. This house is clean and stocked with anything you may need. There is a lovely pool and some playground equipment for children (although we are 2 seniors, so only used the pool). We had no problems to address but the owner promptly responded to any communication. A pleasant stay!

The kitchen was awesome. The property is very far off the main road, further than expected and literally surrounded by mobile homes and ends on a dirt road. All that being said, it was peaceful. I rented the property mainly for the heated pool, which was not heated when we arrived expecting to relax in the pool. It wasn’t turned on to heat until the next day-which took quite a while. The house is beautiful and spacious. There was an unexpected A/C technician appt (pre-scheduled) for the early morning on our first day-a little inconvenience plus he needed to go into the attic, and asked us where it was-we had no idea. It was a little strange but we managed. My son visited with his dog so I was charged an unexpected “pet fee” even though the amenities expressed “pet friendly”. That was a misunderstanding on my part. Instacart will deliver but it’s hard to find the house and some packages were left next door-so be specific if ordering. We probably wont chooses this property again, but I recommend it for others. Wish I had known a bit more before paying so much-so that’s why I’m letting others know. Also checked out 15 mins or so late, so I was charged another fee for that-I understand the policy, however I was told I was preventing the cleaning crew from getting in-however no one was there or even on the long road as we left. The host was always quick to respond to any questions!

Thank you for your review Michelle, I guess there was a glitch in the booking platforms app because we need a day between each guests stay to clean and somehow you were able to book the home when others were leaving at 10am and you were coming in at 4 and you leaving at 10am and more guests coming in at 4pm so when you left at 10:35am we had to bring in a second cleaner to get the home done by 4pm for the next guest, This home takes about 8 hours of cleaning and washing all items for one person because we disinfect and spray the entire home for bedbugs to prevent any problems after each guest, some people may be allergic to dogs/cats so it takes extra cleaning to accommodate them. Also the home sits on 1.5 acres of land which makes it pet friendly, but you still have to pay the pet fee as with every STR. The home is exactly 14 mins from interstate four, which you can take east or west and be in Orlando or Tampa in 36 mins. As far as the heater for the pool it states that you have to request it to be heated, some people don’t swim or don’t want the pool hot. Thank you very much for your review of the home as always rules and guides lines are different for each home so please read before booking so you can have the best trip for you.

Absolutely loved this place, very comfortable and up to date home. Comfortable bed and big t.v.'s. The pool was the soooo nice. We knew it was about 8 mins to the highway and thats why we rented it, we enjoyed the peace, quite and privacy of being out in the country. Dawn was very good with communication when I had questions. We cant wait to stay here again!
