Navywood is a lovely, very comfortable house with all the amenities you could want for a country getaway! My husband and I stayed there as our upstate base for about two weeks and really enjoyed both spending time at the spacious house and exploring surrounding towns. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a family get together. Lived the open living space and the beautiful outdoor space with firepit. Convenient to Bard College.

It was our second time staying at the house for a full week and it was great. The owners think of everything and the house is comfortable in every way.Only thing I would recommend is an umbrella on the deck and a new coffee maker.We loved staying at Navywood and can’t wait to come back next summer

Peaceful Hudson valley vacation spot

House was beautifully appointed and perfectly equipped. Deck off of living area was great for outdoor dinners. Brought our dog and they had everything set up for the him when we got there, it was great having all that green space for him to run around. We will definitely come back for when we are in the Hudson valley.

Modern Country Getaway

We had a great time at this lovely updated country cabin! The finishes were beautiful and modern and the house had everything we needed. An added plus is that the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. It's also conveniently close to Hudson and Rhinebeck.

Private and Peaceful

Pleasant location with lots of privacy. Perfect yard for our dog We enjoyed watching the rabbits and deer who visited daily. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated with a mid century modern style. The house plants were lovely. Kitchen was well appointed.

Fun in the Catskills

What a great time we had! Got to see a lot of fun places and just enjoy nature, saw some deer around the property and the fire pit was so nice at night! Great place for a weekend getaway! Property owners were easy to contact and not a lot of rules and regulations which was refreshing when staying at a VRBO. Highly recommend!

Country Chic

My wife and I had a wonderful extended weekend with friends. The house is well appointed with a great interior design. The house is secluded and sits in a beautiful property with a babbling brook and pond. A perfect get away. Highly recommend.

Perfect in every way

The house and our stay was perfect in every way. We have have been working at a camp near by for over a decade and needed a spot to be able to commute there and relax in the evening.It was a cozy, clean and well appointed retreat after long hot/cold days of working. We were unable to use the firepit due to weather and schedules but left some wood for the next guests. Thank you for making our week so special. We can’t wait to return next year (or maybe next season).

Will stay again!

Just as the listing reported; very clean except for the garbage cans in the bathrooms and previous guests laundry was left in the dryer (We needed to dry our stuff we arrived with torrential rain!). Housekeeping missed it. Didn't see the disclosure about the security cameras - no biggie - stay was awesome and I will rent this place again for sure!! Thank you for the stay!!! :)

An absolutely GORGEOUS property set in a charming wooded area. The entire home is updated like new—modern with charm! Great flow on the upper floor with open concept kitchen, dining, and living. Downstairs has cute second living room, a darling bedroom, and second bath with shower. Bed was super comfortable, and the AC and ceiling fans cooled the entire house. But the best part about the cozy home is its locale: It is perfectly located at the border of Columbia and Dutchess Counties, so you can explore towns any way the compass points! And the roads are so wonderful. All paved, all quiet, all ensconced in bucolic beauty! We will most definitely be back! Don’t miss this upstate retreat!
