Spacious fully stocked cabin, easy to find, easy access to main roads, although set back on a side road with total privacy. Everything worked, no issues. Comfortable beds. Very easy check in. Responsive hostGorgeous scenery and easy drive to major attractions. Great for easy walking as well as challenging hikes. Located minutes from Golden Gate Canyon State Park, a wonderful location with gorgeous scenery and opportunities to camp, walk, hike, or just sit on benches surrounded by outstanding views.

Convenient location and great value. We enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable accommodations outside the busier towns. Nice to enjoy the sunset from the backyard.

Rustic cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. No A/C but even during the hot summer week we were there, the cabin stayed cool at night.

The cabin is adorable and the beds were very comfortable. It is an easy, scenic drive to either Black Hawk or Nederland. And the neighborhood is so quiet, we were overwhelmed with the quiet!

Very nice mountain cabin. Nice kitchen with eveything you need to prepare a meal. Comfortable beds. Nice property, easy to walk around the area. The lake is really pretty! Close enough to Nederland and Black Hawk, if you want to check them out. Nice convenience store and liquor store clos by. The convenience store sells fresh, made to order sandwiches. A nice place to get away feom the city without having to travel too far.
You have to climb the rocks on the back of the property. Beautiful view and easy climb. Took about a minute to get up top.

The house is great, and worked well for my group of 3-6. Cozy mountain cabin is the perfect description. It’s secluded but convenient. Cabin is spacious and very comfortable to gather or catch a nap. It snowed one night which topped off the trip!

This charming cabin is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The kitchen is well appointed, the wood pile is fully stocked, games and movies are plentiful....no need to go anywhere except the backyard where you can enjoy peace and quiet. The host was easy to communicate with when I had a question.

They take VERY good care of this property. It truly is a pleasure to stay here. Conveniently close to Nederland and Golden as well as ski resorts.

We had a great week staying in this cabin. We attended a concert at Red Rocks and visited the Rocky Mountain National Park. The community it's located in is beautiful as well!

Peaceful, secluded stay in the mountains.

We had a wonderful time. The kids and dogs loved the giant rock formation in the back of the property. The wood burning stove was great and added to the cozy vibe.

I have stayed here 3 times. Each time is wonderful. Based on my experience, I am reluctant to choose a different location where I have no idea what to expect. Quiet, calm...you can hear yourself think. I highly recommend this cabin.

Eclectic cozy cabin

Lots of room, games, beds, and stcked wonderfully. Beds are very firm, but not bad. All else was comfortable and fun.

Birthday Ski Getaway

Great location, 20 minutes to Eldora and a little over an hours drive to WinterPark. The cabin was cozy and well-equipped with everything you need for a weekend getaway. We had an amazing time, can't wait to return!

Cabin in the woods

This is a well used, comfortable cabin in the woods. Everything works and the kitchen is very well equipped for a VRBO. We enjoyed our stay. There is lots to do in every direction from the cabin.

Perfect weekend

This cabin was in the PERFECT location. We had the best weekend ever celebrating an anniversary. Hosts were so warm and welcoming. They left the cabin to us in such clean conditions. We are so sad we had to leave but will definitely be back!!

We had a LOVELY time at this cabin! Beautiful views with a short walk around Lake Thorn. Close to Nederland and access to many nearby trails. The interior was so cozy and had a rustic cabin feel. Our entire family loved it, especially our young boys who "hiked" the "mountain" in three back yard. Thank you for having us! The Martinson and Fogle Families

Retreat, remote and energizing

Loved the remote location! We really needed some quality family time. The cabin was great and had little extra things to make the stay unique. Definitely a good choice!

Quaint cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is very well equipped with all the necessities. We enjoyed the selection of games and the kitchen has everything you need. The property was just as described. Not fancy but comfortable and a great location near Golden Gate Canyon State Park.

The property offered plenty of amenities and beautiful views! We had a moose 6’ from the cabin

Overall all it was nice! It would have been better if the gas grill had worked.

Senior trip getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The kids loved the board games. It was fun being able to turn our phones off and reconnect as a family. We saw Moose, deer, and all kinds of critters. So fun!
