The facility was excellent. My family enjoyed the outdoor and indoor facilities very much. Between the two buildings it accommodated my group of 14. The host was very responsive to inquiries. The ability to dock a boat was also very accommodating in that one of my guest brought a boat. Between the two parking areas, we were able to park five vehicles. Due to the hillside location and the narrow roads with tight turns, I would not suggest attempting to park a boat trailer in the upper parking area. Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay. One of my group suggested it would be a great place to celebrate Christmas! Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend!

The place was perfect for us. Plenty of space and everything we needed. We went to the wrong house first because there are two streets with the same name in the town so that was a little confusing. It was explained it just didn’t really sink in. I thought there were two houses with same number on the street. Host was super helpful!

Wonderful weekend

We had a wonderful long weekend at Lake Escape. We loved hanging out on the back porch. My son loved the swings! The house is clean and cozy. The beds are comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the weekend with family. It was a short drive within the neighborhood to the boat ramp. We would definitely stay here again!

The property owner is Fantastic. We asked for an additional pet exception & they were VERY accommodating, very responsive. The only issues we had with the home were that the parking was perhaps misrepresented. The listing says parking for boat & trailer, however, fails to mention that its very narrow, tight turns, & loose gravel. That is not conducive for trailers at all. Also, the guest house had an ant infestation, perhaps it was the time of year, moisture etc..BUT overall, our family had a wonderful time, the home was clean, and the owner a gem!

Our hosts were responsive and accommodating. Our party was a group of siblings ranging in age from 65 to 81 and there are 163 steps to the water. There is also a house between this one and the water. The parking is extremely limited with a steep incline to load and unload. If you want easy access to the water and are seniors, this isn’t a good choice.

This place was PERFECTION! We stayed an entire week and it was big enough for everyone to have their own space. Host was great with communication. Nice little lake view. The stairs to the lake can be difficult especially little kids but hey we definitely gained some leg muscles this week! Wonderfully place and would love to go back!

We have stayed at lot of vacation properties and this by far was the best stocked. We absolutely loved our stay. The deck is amazing and we utilized it every night. The walkway to the lake is a jaunt. 162 steps down and then up. For the young and fit, no biggie, for old and fluffy no go. Was not a deal braker for us. We kyayaed and went to the local beach. All close to where we were staying. Overall enjoyed our stay and recommend for a large group.

The Lake Escape sits tucked into a quiet cove on Greers Ferry Lake, surrounded by trees and nature. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and feels like a true escape — but it’s not too far off the beaten path. The neighborhood is made up of other lake houses and cabins, so you get that laid-back, friendly lake community vibe without feeling crowded.

One of our favorite things about this spot is how calm the water is — perfect for swimming, kayaking, or just floating by the dock. Mornings are quiet and still, and at night, you can hear the crickets and watch the stars from the hot tub. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel like you can exhale and slow down.
