Security footage shows a child attempted to flip on the hammock without adult supervision and fell. The hammock remained intact and was safely used by guests throughout the weekend. Hammocks are installed low specifically to minimize injury risk. Time-stamped cleaning and pre-check-in videos confirm the cabin was clean, the refrigerator and AC were functioning normally, and no sodas were left behind. Temperature logs from our Nest system show normal operation during your stay. Our hot tubs are drained and refilled daily with fresh well water. As an eco-preserve property, we do not use chlorine. Footage confirms the hot tub was used and later found with cups and debris, which contributed to a plumbing obstruction. The mirror crack referenced is sealed, approximately two inches, and poses no safety concern. Insects are normal in this protected forest environment. Post-checkout inspection confirmed furniture was moved and extra cleaning was required, resulting in charges per the signed agreement.
