Great stay. Would stay again. House in dire need of repairs and updates, but I shared this feedback with Boardwalk Realty…which is why I say it’s overpriced. Unbeatable location. Def great for large groups.

Perfect location and lots of room. Master downstairs and all other rooms upstairs was perfect. Plenty of bathrooms and sitting spaces. The only thing that I disliked was that all the beds were super firm. I am usually pretty flexible with mattresses but the bed I slept on was so film and uncomfortable.

We love DI. Love the location of These Are The Days. Overall, it was a great experience. The kitchen is very well equipped with a little bit of everything you need to cook and serve almost anything. The kitchen was not as clean as expected, and we experienced a few bugs the first few days. The issue was apparently addressed before our arrival and seems to be under control. Be sure to take a bag or two of ice…the ice maker is a little slow, but it didn’t affect our experience.Love that the bunk beds are full-sized, and the primary bedroom had a memory foam matters. Very comfy:-)Sunrise and sunset are awesome from the balconies. We will not hesitate to come back!

We had a fabulous stay at “These are the days.” The view and location of the house was perfect for our family vacation with 4 kids (0-4 years old). There are 4 bedrooms upstairs with a jack n Jill bathroom between the two and that was great for us. Kitchen had everything that we needed - we cooked several days and even baked! This was our first time to Dauphin Island and we will definitely be back. If you haven’t been before, go!! I do advise you to do your grocery shopping before you get on the island as the options are limited. There are some great restaurants (lighthouse bakery, islanders, and pirates) and for dinner most take reservations which I would recommend! Overall fabulous trip.

This was our 14th stay on Dauphin Island. Boardwalk Realty has been our host for every stay. They are the best!Over the years we have stayed principally in bay front homes (because of our grandchildren love the freedom of the bay) but this time we were beachfront. It was fantastic! Watching our 5 grandsons (ages 14 through 21) play football on the beach from the deck every afternoon was a highlight. Nightly games & movies added to the experience. Of course, visits to Fort Gaines, the Bird Sanctuary, the aquarium, the Shell mounds, etc, are a must. [Unfortunately, fog kept us from making our annual trip across Mobile Bay on the ferry.]There is no better place to experience a family Christmas than Dauphin Island!
