The home was spacious and a great size for our weekend stay. The host was excellent at maintaining communication and provided accurate, detailed information from the time of booking through the end of our stay. However, there were a few issues that could have been addressed before our arrival. No hand towels were provided, so we had to purchase our own. The refrigerator did not maintain a sufficiently cold temperature, and the ice maker was not functioning, so we had to use the freezer to help keep our items cool. Although we chose not to use the pool, it was not clean or ready for use. Overall, the home had great space, and the host’s communication was superb, but addressing these maintenance and preparation issues would have improved our experience.

Great House for Family

We had four adults and two dogs. The house was exactly as promised: very clean & plenty of room for us all. There is a huge green belt area within a block so we had plenty of room to walk the dogs and explore the area. For anyone looking for true wheelchair accessibility, the doorways to the bathrooms were narrow. We have a very slim travel wheelchair that barely fit. There are two steps to get past to get into the house at the front door. There is an unlevel step to get into the house from the garage - we did not even attempt that with the wheelchair. Accessible houses are very hard to find so we were happy to find this one that worked with some extra help. That area of Carrollton is very close to a lot of businesses and restaurants, so grocery delivery and restaurant delivery is simple, there are a lot of choices.
