Step back in time and experience the charm of our lovingly restored 1925 bungalow, nestled in the heart of the Historic Bradenton River District. Just one mile from vibrant downtown Bradenton and a short drive to the powdery white sands of Anna Maria Island, this cozy retreat is perfectly situated for both relaxation and adventure.

Our home is thoughtfully stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy the convenience of a full kitchen with pantry essentials, coffee and tea, plush bath towels, and curated toiletries. We also provide beach chairs, towels, a cooler, and even a grill and smoker with tools for laid-back cookouts. A washer/dryer, hair dryer, and iron are available for your convenience.

Hop on a bike or take a short drive to explore downtown Bradenton, the scenic Riverwalk, and the colorful Village of the Arts—all offering fantastic dining and unique local shops. Sports lovers will appreciate being close to IMG Academy and McKechnie Field (LECOM Park), home of spring training baseball. Nature enthusiasts can explore nearby preserves like Robinson Preserve, with miles of trails, kayaking, and yoga at The Nest. Several public-access golf courses, tennis, and pickleball courts are also just minutes away.

Perfect cute bungalow

The property is adorably quaint and very clean with everything you might need in the kitchen. We grilled out and enjoyed the nice weather. We missed a snowstorm at home thankfully! The property is easy to find and almost directly east and short drive to Anna Maria Island. We had a great stay!

Mango Cottage

We enjoyed a lovely 2weeks at Mango Cottage. It’s nicelyfurnished, clean and cozy. There was much to do inthe area to keep us busy…..beaches, farmer’s market, restaurants, parks and preserves. Anna Maria Island is a very special place.

Lovely stay

A quick stay with a good friend on our way to a family wedding further south in Florida. We enjoyed the lovely cottage - it was decorated beautifully and very comfortable. I am in love with the bath wallpaper!!! My only suggestion is to add hand soap in the bathrooms, and to have a non-dairy creamer/sugar for those that may want it. The owner was very good with communication and let us know that we could check in early as there wasn't a guest on our arrival day. We enjoyed exploring Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. Ate at a nearby restaurant, The Lazy Ballerina, on Manatee Ave, for dinner - great food and service.

Great cottage in spite of weathering hurricane Debby

The cottage was lovely and comfortable. Unfortunately we were there during Debby and that caused some problems with the property. There was some water seeping in from the chimney after work had been done the previous week. The torrential sideway rain and severe winds were quite strong. We have relative in town and they too were affected. We contacted Karen right away and she got on it. She brought lots of towels to contain the water and contacted the chimney guy to correct the situation. He was there within 10 minutes. Obviously we just lucked out with our timing and made the best of it. Karen did what she could do to resolve the problem. In spite of this we would would go back to the Mango Cottage, hopefully not during hurricane season.

Weekend getaway

The mango cottage was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Made for the perfect getaway for the weekend. Its located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to everything you could possibly want/need. Only thing I would change is a curtain or something on the back kitchen window and an oscillating fan for the bedroom. Was still a wondeful and relaxing stay and will definitely be visiting again in the hopefully near future 😊

Boho Chic

This Boho Chic home is oh so lovely. The owners thought of all the little details. We felt right at home. And the unexpected surprise was the Mango Tree in the front yard! Karen quickly responded to our questions and was super accommodating to our request to check out a little later. Yes! I would highly recommend this property over and over again.

Mango Cottage

We stayed a week at Mango Cottage- it was our first beach vacation not staying directly on the beach. It worked out great. We went to Siesta Key once, and Holmes beach daily. The cottage is convenient to the main road to everything. The house is decorated very cute. The only thing I missing was a dishwasher but we solved that problem by not cooking 😊

Cute cottage

The Mango Cottage was perfect for our brief stay for a destination wedding at Palma de Sola Botanical Park. The cottage provided a peaceful respite to the hectic wedding activities. This property is absolutely gorgeous in its decor and comfort. Hostess Karen did a great job keeping us informed and answered our questions. The area was also so much fun! Plenty of beaches, views, sunsets and great restaurants. Loved our stay and our trip!

It was a delightful retreat for us, and from the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm and character of the cottage. The old Florida design exuded a sense of nostalgia and authenticity that immediately made me feel at home. The Cottage itself was immaculately maintained, and it was evident that great care had been taken to ensure guests' comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and all the amenities provided exceeded our expectations. In conclusion, our stay at your Cottage exceeded our expectations, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in a charming setting. Beautiful comfort

The three of us loved this beautifully accessorized cottage for our first stay in Bradenton.The beds are so comfortable, as is all the furniture. The surroundings are lovely, as well, and the host gets an A+ for communication and accommodation. We hope to return.

Quiet, centrally located, charming bungalow

This beauty is clean, decorated beautifully, comfortable, centrally located, and in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. So easy to get to from the airport. A quick 10 minutes to the beach. Has all the conveniences of home. Plus a few extra that I wasn't expecting, like the plush pillows and linens on the bed, the oversized bathroom towels, the gorgeous stand alone tub, the relaxing outdoor porch swing, and even a washer and dryer. The landscaping was so pretty, and there is an enormous mango tree in the front yard, producing all of the freshest mangoes you could possibly want!! I will definitely come back the next time I am in town. Thank you Karen and James for a lovely week!!

Family gathering

As a native of Bradenton, I spent my childhood soaking up the sun and sand on the stunning beaches of Anna Maria Island or playing on the playground at the nearby Lewis Park. James, originally from Belfast, Ireland, and I crossed paths there, and we’re now excited to be splitting time between Northern Ireland and sunny Florida in the near future.
