Huge property. Way overkill for just 2 people but would bring a group back for sure. This was a last minute book for us. All descriptions of property are spot on. If ya wanna get away from this insane society this is your place

This home is just as advertised, absolutely wonderful. It is clean, spacious with lots of room. The kitchen is amazing. We did have a difficult time getting the door unlocked.

This property is perfect for multiple families who love spending time outdoors. We had 4 adults and 4 kids with plenty of extra room in the house. It was furnished with everything you need for home cooked meals. The house was clean and very well organized. The views from the deck that overlook the canyon are stunning for sunsets! We will be back next year for another adventure!

Week long retreat

We’ve been coming to Long Pine for years and always have been searching for that one place that could house us all under one roof. This place is it! Everything that you could possibly need is here at the The Goodnight Getaway.

Friends get away

We are all over 60 and had a blast!!! House is huge and views incredible. Might have to return for fall colors!!! Hosts were fantastic to work with!!!!

Weekend getaway

We came to stay, to have a mini in state vacay before school starts in a few weeks. The view was beautiful. Plenty of amenities for a whole village. Clean. Spacious. The host couldn’t have been more hospitable.

Wedding/golf weekend

Property was immaculate and views were breathtaking. We absolutely loved it!!! Sleeping arrangements were not super private so definitely know that upfront. But for families with children or just two couples like we had the property is perfect! Would highly recommend!

Great Place

They probably don't tell enough about how great this place is. Or maybe I shouldn't put it out there so we can stay again! LOL It would be hard to be disappointed.

Secluded paradise

Very cozy, very nice kitchen & family room. Surprised there was no door to the master bathroom. The black leather chairs in the living area shed pieces of black leather. Outside area great. Liked having the sheets & towels available.

Always enjoy

We have always enjoyed our stay here. We have farmground in the area but do not live there so we need a place for our crew when we're planting and harvesting. This place has space for us and a wonderful big, supplied kitchen for taking meals to the field and when the guys come in. I sometimes don't want to share how much we like it so that it's available every time we need it!! They are great owners and always available to us.

The house is wonderful, more than enough space for our family of 10. Beautiful views, LOVE all the windows!! The grounds were nice, you can see where at one time they'd have been quite beautifully landscaped. Only thing I'd change/fix would be the deck. It is quite ricketty and starting to fall apart on the eastern side. It's such an asset to the house, but needs repair. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

Just What We Needed

We used the property to feed and house a corn harvest crew of 12 men. The property was closely located to our fields and worked great for getting meals to the field and supper for them when they were finished at 8 pm. Although there are options to eat in the area, none were open at 6 a.m. or 8-8:30 pm to feed the crew. The kitchen and dining area were excellent for a large group with all the necessary utensils and large pots, skillets, griddles etc... to make meals. I definitely took too many supplies along not knowing it would be well supplied. It is basically like walking into your own kitchen. I found a tsp of this and TB of that when I had a spice I didn't bring. All appliances were also great for our large group. Beds were great, although we could have used some rollouts as the guys did not put two to a bed (a unique situation I'm sure). The scenery is beautiful and the squirrels are very busy! It is well maintained. It was a great property and we will probably stay again.

The host was excellent to work with. The house was clean, well stocked and roomy. The sleeping arrangements were creative. The master bedroom had three beds and no door. There was a bed in an enclave off the dining/living room. We were 2 couples so we had plenty of privacy. It is a unique house and we greatly enjoyed our weekend!

In the state where corn fields line the highway, Goodnight’s Getaway is nestled among evergreen trees, surrounded by the active wildlife. Birds, Squirrels, and turkeys are common visitors to the property, but don’t be surprised to see deer wander through, or even occasionally raccoons, opossums, or even a porcupine. At times you may see summer revelers float by on Long Pine Creek, or you can drive through town to Hidden Paradise and take the plunge yourself. As you ride your inner tube past the house, Don’t forget to wave to those watching from the large deck, where one can watch and listen to the many birds, and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
