Beat the heat in our updated, yet rustic home in the whispering Ponderosa Pines of N. Arizona. Situated in the small town of Mountainaire, just south of Flagstaff, Snowbowl and so much more. You don't have to go far to find trails for hiking, biking, and off-roading that lead through the Coconino National Forest. Finish your day by watching the sunset and taking in a star-filled night on the spacious back porch or cooling off inside with the (3) in-room A/C's.

We loved this place! The house was beautiful inside and had a nice outdoor space. It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities one would need. Seven of us fit with no issues. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We would absolutely stay here again.

Communication with the host was great. The home was comfortable, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of spaces for eating from the kitchen counter to the dining room table and the outside deck with the fire pit. Our grandson enjoyed the bunkbed room and also the swings and corn hole game in the back. We were attending a wedding and we were less than 5 minutes from the venue and we had easy access and a short drive to Flagstaff for other events.Being in the ponderosa pines was lovely!

My family and I made a quick weekend trip to Flag for an early Christmas getaway and visit to the North Pole Express. The house was stocked with everything we needed, clear directions for heating/fireplace/fire pit and the girls loved the swing set in the backyard. Great place for two couples and kiddos.

Great house, worked out perfect for our stay. We were attending a wedding venue that was less than a mile away. We had plenty of room and beds for our group.

Great getaway!

Everything was really great, basics were all provided and everything was very comfy!Location was perfect for exploring northern AZ.The furnaces were slightly intimidating at first but were pretty user friendly.

This is a clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped home. The description/photos are accurate, and the owner is very responsive. There’s a small/local country store a short distance away, providing last-minute necessities. Great, quiet hideaway!

Great host and house

Host responsed quick ly. The house were cleaned well and packed with supplies. We had no problem staying here. I recommend renting this house.

Well thought out for everything you might need conveniently. Only complaint was the bed in the center room was very hard and uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect

Comfortable Clean Landing Place

The space was very clean & well kept. More room than we needed. We really enjoyed landing on the big sofa in front of the big TV after our adventures in the area.

Clean & comfortable

We liked our stay here very much. There is adequate sleeping arrangements and seating for a large family. The outdoor space was a perfect play area for our younger kids. We loved having the deck area and grill. It's located close to town but in a quiet neighborhood

Christmas Experience with the family

We came to Flagstaff to visit family and take the kids to the Little America Christmas Experience. Wanted a place to sleep us all comfortably and not have to split rooms at a hotel and scenic. This cabin did so.

Great property nestled in the hills outside Flagstaff. The location was perfect for us, allowing convenient access to Sedona, Grand Canyon and downtown Flagstaff. The property it self was well cared for with all the amenities my family and I needed. David, the host, was very responsive and clear in all instructions. Would return to this property for sure.

Great property! Great location!

This was my second time to stay at this house. I was there in April with my son and family. This time it was a “girls” trip. We wanted to get out of the heat for a few days. We enjoyed being able to sit out on the deck in the evenings to enjoy the cool air. The host is pleasant and responds quickly when contacted. The house is comfortable and very inviting. I would love to stay there again in the future!
