Welcome to our geodesic dome near Capitol Reef National Park! Our unique dome is the perfect home base for exploring the nearby Capitol Reef National Park, Goblin Valley, World Famous Dirt Biking, and beautiful hikes all around. Inside, you'll find a partial kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Just outside your dome, you have a private full bathroom. The dome sleeps up to 2 people comfortably, making it a great option for couples and friends. Enjoy stargazing from the hammocks outside and explore all that this beautiful area has to offer. Built and run by our new small family! Book your stay today and experience the beauty of southern Utah!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The “Dome” makes for a unique experience! They are very spacious. It was close to the road but the traffic wasn’t an issue. Appreciate the private bathroom! Would recommend staying here and we hope to come back sometime.

I thought this was a neat spot. The dome was really cute and well decorated! The only thing I think would be helpful for guests to know before booking is that they should bring their own water to drink. I appreciated the sign in the bathroom about the water, and while I had no issues bathing in it, it would have been hard for me to drink. I would have grabbed an extra gallon of water before I headed out.

Amazing view of the stars and bats. I have since personally recommended this venue to friends who saw our pictures on Social media. Can't wait to go back again. Highly recommend this host and home.

Love the stay! Bigger on the inside than you’d think. Close to Capitol Reef which was nice. Good communication from the owner. Would recommend it and would also stay again!

Little late getting this posted - but property was great. Everything was exactly as described and entire process was effortless from rental to check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay here again!

Cool dome but area too bright at night

My husband and I stayed 1 night here as we were traveling through Utah. The dome was cool and the hosts were great. The only issue was the dome in front of us left thier outdoor lights on all night and they were so bright we had to close our curtains and didnt get to enjoy the night sky in the dome.

We would stay here again.

This was a fun place to stay and a nice setup. I always wanted to stay in a yurt. Very grateful for a warm bathroom. We enjoyed the BBQ and having a fire at night. We live in the city, and I always look forward going to a place where I can see lots of stars. It's a bit close to the highway, but we did not hear anything traffic during the night. We slept great! The heater worked great after we googled how to work it. The picture shows a blue, larger refrigerator and dinnerware, etc. in the cupboards. However, in the Oak Yurt, the fridge is half the size. I was surprised how much food we got in it. There was a bare minimal supply of paper goods. We brought our own because we figured we would be camping. We loved the large window and the view all around us. However, I was disappointed that the top was closed. The pictures show the top opened. I'm sure there's a good reason for it being closed up. All in all, it was a fun and nice place to stay. We had a great time. We would stay there again!!!

We loved the dome. Lots of games, bed was comfy, everything clean and inviting. Site was very secluded allowing great star gazing. Shaded firepit and lighting were an added bonus.

Clean, comfortable, close proximity to nearby parks. Awesome response from host, no issues. Will recommend to my friends who are coming to this area, felt like a retreat.

It was indescribable lonely

Our stay in your Dome Oak was unique and incredible. This accommodation reflects the landscape in its size and simplicity. We were just overwhelmed. We didn't miss anything. I've never seen the night sky like this before. Me, Steffen, will definitely come back. The planning is already underway. For me the best and most interesting stay of my entire US travels. Trip to Capitol Reef

Property was easy to find being just off of Hwy. 24. Clean dome living area and clean bathroom next door. Great view of the buttes surrounding the area and great sitting places. A little warm during the day, but the instructions in the domes had suggestions to help and they worked. Unique area and a unique place to stay, loved it.

Wasn't sure at first never stayed at a place like this.little confusion with VRBO but once we got in the place was awesome.clean air conditioner worked great.fire pit with wood was nice very comfortable bed.overall I give it two 👍

Really unique place to stay. Like a tent but huge inside, and with a wood panelled floor, and electricity, and comfort. Problem for me is it was a really windy night which was loud and made the dome covering shake and flap against the dome’s frame. Definitely not the fault of the owners. Given the size of the dome there is room for a king sized bed, and for the price I would expect a bigger bed. Also, the water to the property is a very healthy mineral water with a mineral water smell. If you’ve ever been to Iceland you’ll know what I mean. Bathroom was 10 steps away and though small worked perfectly and was spotless clean. Wish there was a hair dryer. Last “wished for” item is outlets with USB-C connections, and fewer of the older USB connections. All modern phones, computers, etc. use the newer connection so make sure to bring your plug in adapter.
