Great place! We enjoyed the pool very much as well as the shade to sit and watch sunrises and stars. It rained and the seagrass was horrible, but no why to plan for those things. Found wonderful places to eat out as well as a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Very quiet area yet close to the village with options. Went to Jaguar Reef for the swim-up bar a couple nights-glad we had here to come ‘home’ to. Mookies was a great place for drinks and watch football.

Property is a great location, beautiful ocean views, and nice space to stay comfortably. The local manager, Odalis, is very kind and helpful and makes checkin and out easy and fast. We had a couple issues our first night and she was quick to help fix them, as well as Kathy, the owner. The sargassum smell was strong, and does make the water less enjoyable, which is no fault of the property, but just keep that in mind during sargassum season. The house is well stocked, plenty of bath towels, (but no beach towels), hot water, good air conditioning, and extra toys for the beach make it very enjoyable to stay here. Would come back here if we are in the area again.

Thank you so very much for the wonderful review! Yes, I truly wish I could do something about the seasonal sargassum yet, it washes in and out from the ocean unpredictably. I am so happy you enjoyed your stay even with the challenges of nature. I have notified the Property Manager to let future guests know where the beach towels are located. This feedback always helps us to improve! Thank you for treating the staff so wonderfully and we'd love to have you back!

Everything was wonderful. The house was clean, kitchen had everything we needed, the kids enjoyed the pool, and there was more than enough to do with all the extras. Everything was well thought of

The property was great. The kitchen was well equipped. The ice machine was a nice perk. The pool was kept clean and well enjoyed. The neighbours were kind.

We had a wonderful time in Hopkins! The house manager was lovely and welcoming! Everything at the house was working and very clean! We used the kayaks and bicycles and life jackets- all perfect!

Oceanfront house with lots of amenities! Great for two couples as both bedrooms have a bathroom. We especially enjoyed the windows porch and outdoor patio. We appreciated having bikes, too, and a full sized washer and dryer. Janette, the property manager, was very helpful with ideas on things to do

Excellent place to stay in Hopkins. Fits 6 people. Great amenities: kitchen is fully stocked, bikes, SUP, snorkelling gear. We were not quite sure, but the ocean floor is sand and quite shallow near the house. We just wish weather would cooperate a bit better.

It's a beautiful location and the house has everything you need. It's a short walk to the fun Mango bar nearby. We enjoyed taking the bikes for a ride. For groceries and dinner, it was a very short drive into town. Jenette was really helpful and answered questions and made recommendations for tours and activities. loved the colorful festive Mayan-themed decoration.

We stayed 11 days July 2026. The whole property was as advertised. The place was very clean and stocked with everything you could ever need. The owner was very responsive and kept you updated. The property manager was very helpful and always available and quick to respond with any help or anything that was needed before or during your stay. Ac and fans in every room kept house cool. The neighbors were nice kept to themselves and were gone most of out trip so it was very private. The mini bar was great and you can request the property manager to have your personal taste of items stocked there when you arrive. We saw several stingrays and crabs and different fish in the water behind the house. The stingrays are Not aggressive and were fun to swim with. This was a wonderful property and the owner and property manager were great.

Perfect location for our adventures

We loved staying here for our family vacations. It’s right on the water and the ocean is warm and shallow, perfect for the kids to swim and play. It’s a close location to explore the jungle and take a boat out to the Cayes. We cooked several meals at home and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed a few restaurants at the resorts nearby and in the Hopkins Village.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hopkins. The villa was great to go back to after an active day. The porch room facing the ocean was wonderful for hanging out, drinking coffee and cocktails and working on puzzles. The kitchen was well stocked. Having the bikes, kayaks and paddle boards was such a bonus. We used them everyday. The ocean was calm most days and shallow enough to walk out quite a distance. (If you need transport services, we used a local family run business that was clean and professional. MNA Taxi Service, Manuel Cal, on Facebook.)

We had a wonderful view of the sunrise and sunset and the water was perfect. The kitchen was stocked well. The showers were nice and we enjoyed our stay. It was like being at home. We also had a reflection of the moon on the water. All from the window view. Oh and the stars are bright and brilliant. You can see many cancellations in the back at night.

Thanksgiving break

We came down over Thanksgiving break with our teenagers. Loved Hopkins and loved our stay at Belizean Bliss. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We’ll be back!

Christmas Break Bliss

The Belizean Bliss was absolutely a wonderful find. The property is right on the ocean, close to the village of Hopkins, it had great amenities in the kitchen we made a lot of meals here and enjoyed the view., beds were super comfortable and the sunroom/covered porch space was sooooo nice. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house was clean and well-stocked to cook. Beds were comfy and the AC worked when power wasn’t out. House manager Jeanette was so awesome — communicative, friendly, helpful. She also rents golf carts to 18 and our teens loved zipping around Hopkins and having some freedom. The seaweed was pretty bad at our house but plenty of docks a couple houses away to access the ocean.

Great house in a great town

We loved staying at Belizean Bliss and in Hopkins. Hopkins has so much great food and nice people (much nicer than the people we met in Hawaii last year). The house was super clean with a nice entry room/porch and many windows overlooking the sea.Many of the knick-knacks, throws, and paintings in the house are also available at the big gift store in town, which was a great local touch.If we changed one thing about our trip it would have been to drive ourselves less, rent a golf cart to go to town, and have local drivers to drive us to farther destinations - the roads really are chaotic with varying speeds, horses, kids, speed ramps, etc.

Much better than even the pictures. What a bargain!

We went during the rainy season and took a chance. The views are spectacular. The house is epic. A bit of seaweed which is everywhere in the Caribbean. The steps into the ocean were great and we just walked right into the ocean everyday. Rainy days we explored the temples and sunny days we went diving and island hopping. Property Manager, Janette, Alex and the owner went way beyond for everything we needed. Seriously, we're staying for a month next time.

Belizean Bliss Villa

Very nice house. Water was pretty shallow off shore, nice for getting cooled off. Had a couple of problems, toilet im master was clogged when we got there, but was taken care of pretty quickly. Frig decided to quit working midway thru stay, but was replace as soon as was possible since it was between xmas and new year. It was not a major problem for us except not being able to keep our beer cold. A couple of coolers and a few bags of ice got us thru.

I deeply appreciate your understanding! We were able to get a new fridge and fix the plumbing for the toilet to resolve the issues and I deeply apologize for those items. Belize during the holidays has some challenges with resources getting major appliances and fixes in a fast turnaround. You were amazing guests and I truly hope to have you back again!
