We had very nice weather and spent more time outside than normal for March. It is the perfect house for our family Game room was used alot!

Beautiful home tucked away in what feels like a secret location but really you are just a stones throw from the highway and town and Devils Lake and more. Very private on a solid 13 or so acres. Has an excellent game room (with clean, working, all-parts-and-pieces-present toys and games including a pool table, large air hockey, a big life size Connect Four and more. We also used the outdoor fire pit,which was solid and a great size. The main bedroom has its own small sitting room, which was lovely. There are also several distinct sections in the house which - even though this trip was just the four of us - would be super helpful for multi generational gatherings/multi family vacations etc. A little dated and not our personal style but that's just a preference. The yard and grounds were all really expansive/fun to explore. Overall a lovely home and we woupd love to come back in the winter. As large as it is, it still maintains a cozy feel throughout. Which is a tough thing to do. Thank you for having us in your wonderful home!

Great stay on D Lake

Great stay for my family girl’s weekend - plenty of room and plenty of Bathrooms () - we would stay here again! We like going to Casino at night and it’s only 5 minute ride from there !

Perfect Oasis

We loved the privacy and space provided by this home. The backyard was large and allowed the kids space to run and play. The kids loved looking for slugs in the yard in the mornings. We saw deer walk by several times. There is so much space and the host was always very respectful and kind in our interactions. There is a spare fridge in the garage that allowed us to cook meals at the house for 13 people. I would not hesitate to stay here again with a large group!

Maintenance needed

Overall, it was a nice place for the family to gather while we visited the area to attend a wedding. However, all of the beds squeaked every time you moved, and most of them were very uncomfortable. The BBQ needs to have the burner replaced, as it only got up to 200 degrees, we had to cook our burgers inside. The cooktop, only 2 burners worked. The fridge ice maker/water dispenser didn't work and the handle on the freezer was broken. It also had a terrible smell to the fridge, ground coffee & baking soda in the refrigerator in an attempt to cover it up. upstairs bathroom sinks drained extremely slow, pipes need to be cleaned. The kitchen table is wobbly. A family member described it best, all the furniture appears to have been used for many years by the owner, and when the owner updated their furniture, the old, falling apart/uncomfortable furniture was moved to the rental. There was zero contact with us when we arrived, to confirm if everything was good or if we needed anything. Access to the home was clear in the welcome email, however, most of us rely on GPS and it sent us down the wrong road with a small turn around. 1 sign added where K Ave veers to the left would likely solve this issue. The biggest reason I mention this, is that we had an emergency and 911 was called. Had we not flagged down the fire truck/ambulance, they would've gone down a narrow road with no turn around for their large vehicles.

marvelous lodge! plenty of beds and just right on linens and towels. The property sprawls with trails through woods and brush. Take a walking stick. We saw deer often on the property. Google Map directions will take you to a wrong address!!! Use Siri or follow the hosts directions very carefully. Our only complaint was the oven was out of service, they were awaiting installation or a new unit, so showing up with frozen lasagna for an evening meal was a bummer. The pool table and foosball tables are great. Gas grill for BBQ worked fine.

We’ve stayed in this house 6 times now. We love the size for our family and it has everything in the house that we need. It does need some updates though. The oven stopped working the last night we were there so we had to switch to the grill outside. The dryer also did not work, there was a note left for us saying it did not work. But with 14 people and half were kids a dryer was necessary. The hot tub was amazing! Though the key was missing but we found that the house key had the hot tub key so we were able to use it. We will continue to take our yearly trips to this house. Hopefully next year some things will be updated.

Great lot with tons of room to keep busy! The layout of the house was perfect! Master bedroom is on opposite side of house from game room!! Hottub was warm, all showers worked great and furniture comfy. We never had to get in touch with host because everything worked and check in process was very accurate and easy to follow. Road to get to house is a bit rough when following GPS but we found a side road that was more ideal. Lake was great, beach & ocean was great!! Definitely would rent this house again if traveling back to Lincoln City. Would have gave 5 Stars except for a couple things but should be easy upgrades. Master bathroom lighting in shower room is so dim, we had to bring a lamp in so we could see. The hot tub jets literally squirted out of the tub like a firehose. May want to get that looked at.
