Home Base Resort #6

This is a brand new space located right off the freeway in quaint Joseph, Utah. Built in 2021, this modern unit has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and an open loft with two queen beds. Equipped with a full bath and kitchen with all the basic essentials. This small home is part of a 7 unit resort, with more phases to come. Close to the Paiute ATV trail, fishing and within an hour of National Parks. We do allow pets, but there is a small nightly fee. Please let us know if you bring your pet.

This is exactly what I wanted and needed. It was clean, comfortable, and the pin drop helped me find the way. We went to Mystic Hot Springs even though it was freezing outside the star night was magical.

This place was great! Easy to get to, and it was perfect for our family of five / small dog. Also, the upstairs ceiling was just tall enough for our 6’2 son to stand without hitting his head!

Only a couple hour drive to all of the major parks! For the price, nothing can beat this!

Would be 5 stars with a few tweaks

Everything that we expected from the listing was consistent with what we found. Spacious, clean, location as expected. Bathroom and kitchen area fit the bill. The two reasons we felt that we couldn’t give five stars: Rock hard pillows and air conditioning units. The pillows are an easy fix. The beds were comfortable, so it was a shame the pillows didn’t match the comfort level. I was wishing all night long that we had brought our own pillows. The air conditioning units sounded like an airplane taking off next door every time they turned on throughout the night and the cooling really doesn’t reach the upstairs loft, where all of our kids were sleeping. We found one of our sons on the couch downstairs in the morning with towels over his body. He was too hot upstairs, but too cold right next to the unit downstairs. And there were no extra blankets, so he had found towels. Looks like a promising place, I just can’t give full stars with the amount of sleep we got last night.

Sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. We have a number of different pillows we are trying some soft and some more firm. The air conditioners do a good job cooling the unit down, We also have a fan upstairs to help circulate the air. As far as being loud, sounds like an air conditioner not an airplane.

Very nice accommodations

This was our second stay at this group of tiny houses. The last one we were in was unit #5 and I liked it better. It ended up just being my husband and I since our daughter and her girlfriend didn’t come, so we missed the storage that was lost from the stairs and second floor going in. But if you needed more beds, this would be the better unit. There was no AC up in the loft where the second and third beds were, just a fan, but it was open to the downstairs so perhaps it would be cool or warm enough up there. We didn’t try it out, so I don’t know. The only negative was that the water pressure was so low that it was hard to even take a shower. We’d probably check to see if this was fixed before staying in this unit again. Also, pillows are very firm memory foam. My husband didn’t have a hard time sleeping on them, but I had to get a pillow from Walmart that was softer because I couldn’t sleep the first night. It was only $7, so no big deal. They were different pillows from the other unit we stayed in previously. I had no problem sleeping on those pillows. Overall, I would recommend staying in these. They are very nice units and the owner was great to work with both times.

This place was prefect for what we needed. Gar price, great location, easy check in process, the place was clean. Overall this was by far better than the other options we looked into.
