Sitting on a beautiful mountaintop, Misty Mountains Lodge (which is over 9,000 sqft) offers breathtaking sunsets and views of the Allegheny Mountains, as well as, magical night skies perfect for stargazing. Located on over 50 acres, Misty Mountains Lodge has vast trails available for hiking. Closer to home, the lodge provides a surreal garden with a beautiful goldfish pond, all of which light up beautifully in the evening.

Inside the lodge, you'll find a luxurious large chef's kitchen equipped with a crock pot, bread maker, waffle maker, blender, Nespresso and coffee machine; a large master bedroom on the main level and three bedrooms upstairs. The lodge provides a large arcade game room, which includes a pool table, foosball table, air hockey table, ping pong table, indoor arcade basketball hoops, extra large smart TV, karaoke machine, indoor putting green, and hundreds of books and DVDs. You'll also have access to a high-end LG large washer and dryer.

Just 20-25 minutes down the near 3,000 ft high mountain, you'll find Lewisburg (voted the "coolest small town in the US"), The Greenbrier where you can golf and tour the U.S. Congress's nuclear bunker, as well as, boat at Moncove Lake State Park and enjoy white water rafting.

Beautiful, enormous house with a beautiful kitchen and very comfy beds in lovely rooms. And the kitchen is very well stocked/supplied. Super peaceful spot and we especially loved the campfire. We really enjoyed the nearby trails through the woods. We definitely plan to return again!!!!

Great Family Get AwayCheck-in/Check-out was simple. The owners did a great job of providing a place where guests can relax and enjoy indoor or outdoor activities. The trails are well marked, and we enjoyed the birds, pond and seeing deer most mornings and evenings. Everything we needed was provided. Kitchen is well stocked (could use more hot pads). Family enjoyed playing games & watching movies in the downstairs area (a 2nd TV upstairs would be nice). Our son appreciated the office area since he needed to work while we were there. The views are amazing. Communication with the host was excellent. This is a great place for a family get-away.

A wonderful home in all ways. Spacious rooms and setting. Beautiful grounds and wildlife. Stocked kitchen fully amended for home cooked meals. Clean, well appointed and decorated so lovely for the holiday. We loved our stay and the thoughtfulness of the owners!! Would definitely return to this Vrbo!!

The online photos looked so great, but the reality was even greater. This lodge was beautiful sitting on top of the Misty Mountain! Clean, clean, clean high-end appliances and comfortable furniture and beds. The personal touches were so welcoming; there was wine waiting to be opened on arrival, every room smelling fresh, bathroom care products waiting to be used, pillows on the couches plumped up waiting for you to sit and relax after your trip. The layout of the lodge offered areas for getting together with others, but there were also areas where you could go off by yourself and read a book in silence or take a nap! The hostess was very quick to reply with any questions I had! We plan to make this lodge a permanent destination in our future travels. Make sure you have plenty of storage space on your phone for pictures, as you will be taking a lot of them! The children's playroom even had the cutest little costumes to dress up in! There was an office too, but we didn't use it!!!!! We were there to relax and take in nature. Speaking of nature, if you sit out on the deck about 5pm and be still and quiet, the frogs in the pond will serenade you, and the fish will dance for you. Mother Nature really took her time when creating this beautiful wildlife refuge! The views were breathtaking and each morning the first thing I did was open the curtains to take it in once again. I never got tired of it.

Wonderful Weekend.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Misty Mountains Lodge. The lodge was beautiful, roomy and well supplied with amenities including it's surrounding scenic views, comfortable furniture, entertainments, and treats on arrival.

Trip for Graduation

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Aside from a few things being dusty, it was overall pretty clean! The host was very responsive and even had someone out to cut the grass. We loved being able to bring our dogs and definitely will be coming back!

Perfect winter escape!

The property was perfect for our group of 6 adults, 2 kiddos, and one dog. The bedrooms were as described and comfy. The house was exceptionally well provisioned with everything we needed! The host was super responsive and checkin/checkout was simple. We especially enjoyed the sleds and had a blast of playing in the snow. We can’t wait to come back when it’s warm and enjoy the outdoor space!

That was the BEST HOUSE we ever stayed! Our 3.5year old girl had the best time playing with the dolls in the playroom while we had so much time playing pool and arch. The House is even more beautiful than on the pictures! Deers and Frogs around were cute. The stargazing at night was one of a kind I even captured some shutting stars on my go pro and Milky Way! I will return without hesitation! Thank You!

Sisters Trip to the mountains

This location is a bit remote- be prepared for narrow winding roads - but the drive is worth it! Not only was the house beautiful and spacious, the views were spectacular! Everything we could possibly need was provided so no quick trips to a store needed. Just a short drive to White Sulphur Springs and Lewisburg We’re planning a return stay at this house for sure

Misty mountains

We loved the spacious room, amenities and well appointed kitchen. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which made our stay even more enjoyable. The downstairs area was great for movie watching. Thoughtful consideration and anticipation with comfy blankets and furniture throughout. Host was super responsive with communication. Beautiful grounds for hiking and pretty outdoor light in the evening. Great house for all seasons.

Cabin in Secondcreek

Exactly as pictured on website, including the tree in living room. Great place if you plan on spending majority of time at cabin. Watched deer every evening from rocking chairs. Didn’t spend a lot of time there except for evenings. Wished there was a tv in living room. Comfortable beds & furniture. Overall , a great place.

Great getaway

This is a very nice, peaceful, pet friendly home. The house is very well kept, comfortable clean and has a great view, includes outdoor seating with a view. Lots of space for the dogs to get exercise and play in the fields and very cute outdoor landscaping. The owner was very attentive. I recommend using Apple Maps outside the vrbo app and typing in the address that way. Hope to return for some quiet relaxation in the future!

Amazing home for family getaway

This home is absolutely stunning! The views are amazing! Walking trails are marked.. which is very nice, I would consiter them not easy but not difficult either. What goes down must go up 😉 So many extras are provided for your fun and comfort. Home is very clean. Places we enjoyed nearby were the Bunker tour at the Greenbriar Hotel and Lost Cavern self guide tour, however we spent most of our time at the house. I would recommend this home 100 times over! BEAUTIFUL HOME - BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY -BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!

Memorable Family Getaway

This home was perfect for our three-generation family getaway. It is clean, well-maintained and the views are spectacular. We appreciated the attention given to providing accommodations for dogs. The hosts were responsive when we had a question upon our arrival. They have also provided many resources for researching what the area has to offer. The location is great for day trips to Lewisburg and/or White Sulphur Springs. We also took the 30-minute drive to Union to hike up to the Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory. Very much recommend. Wild and Wonderful, indeed.

Spectacular

The listing and pictures do not do this location justice. There was plenty of room for us to move about and not be on top of one another. The kitchen was well outfitted with flat ware and utensils for anything we wanted to cook and serve. The upstairs living space was comfortable and we made good use of the fireplace. The downstairs game room and TV came in handy. Outside was amazing with trees, trails, and plenty of deer and birds to enjoy. Probably the best place we've ever stayed and we hope to visit again.
