Beautiful property with everything needed for a fun and relaxing PEI family vacation. Walking distance to a great beach and easy access to other attractions. Nice extras like the fire pit, games, and beach chairs, towels, blankets, and toys.

This rental is truly first class. The rooms are spacious and decorated stylishly. The kitchen had a great selection of cookware and dishes. We would definitely rent again.

Amazing house and location. The house is in great condition and has many great features like the outdoor patio furniture. We would highly recommend to anyone looking be by lakeside beach and golf!

Great vacation rental. Very close to the beach, very clean and very appealing. Not only that the kitchen was very well equipped (lots of nice glasses, plates and cooking equipment) but also beach gear has been provided. The host has been very responsive and kind. The only downside has been the lack of a larger table fitting all guests. (But this might be an european thing).

Family Vacation 2025

We had a fantastic week at a beautiful home. The ‘cottage’ had everything you could possibly need for vacation. Location to beach was great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are sad to leave.

Lovely modern home, with a large kitchen which made cooking easy. The home was very clean when we arrived. We had six adults and one infant - it was spacious enough for all of us without crowding. Beautiful beach - highly recommend.

Major problem with Mosquitoes and Gnats. We used 3 cans of Mosquito Repellent on ourselves around the doors and the car. It was impossible to get to the car without being swarmed by Mosquitoes! Obviously we were confined to the house and could not use the outdoor facilities. Gnats were always present in the kitchen area. We put out vinegar as our host suggested and that killed a dozen or so each day but they were still present on the house.The upstairs windows have no drapes or shades and during the day you could not find a place to sit out of the sun in the living room.The King bed is on its last legs - low on the sides and high in the middle. Squeeky springs and shaky bed made getting up at night impossible without waking my wife.Not a water view. Too far to walk to the beach. Otherwise, the house itself was fine. Used the washer/dryer and microwave which worked well.Closest place to eat was the grill at Crowbush Golf Links with average tasting food. The best food is found at Dreadnaught Food Truck about 5 miles a way. Without the mosquitoes and the King bed mattress, it was an excellent place to stay. Great fireplace, shower, and WiFi. Furniture average.

Great property - so well equipped and very well appointed. The group of friends loved the stay and very much enjoyed Barb's place. Great location - close to Rodd's Crowbush Cove and close to a wonderful beach. We would highly recommend this property. Thank-you.

Ideal for beach and relaxation

Modern, spacious, super-comfortable, full of light, close to the beach - the ideal place to stay for relaxation, long walks on an empty marvelous beach, amazing seafood, and friendly PEI vibes. Highly recommended!

Family vacation

Host communicated promptly. The home was appointed with beautiful things and everything we needed. Beach, that is just as beautiful as the National Park, was a 10 minute walk. Host provides a wagon for the little ones to get there with all our stuff.

Serenity by the sea

This well-appointed and well-provisioned property leaves not a single thing wanting. The house is quiet, close by the beach, and the hosts are wonderfully responsive and accommodating to travelers' needs. Perfect in every way!

Great Escape

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was so spacious and had all the extras we could need. Our kids loved playing out in the yard and the area was nice and peaceful. The beach was absolutely amazing and we spent as much time as we could there each day. Our host was very responsive when we did need something (however we didn't need much as the property has just about everything you need for vacation). It was a wonderful experience, and we appreciate the host opening their beautiful cottage for us to have a lovely vacation.

Wonderful stay!

This is a lovely beach cottage. Clean and modern. Kitchen is very well equipped. Outdoor areas also well set up. The main bedroom a/c was wonderful. The single unit upstairs had a little more trouble keeping the bedrooms cool but manageable. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella and toys. Bathrooms and showers were great. Lots of towels and blankets. Enough staples/condiments to not need to buy everything to cook…Olive oil, spices etc. laundry was great. 10min walk to the most gorgeous beach. And incredible sunsets. Very quiet area. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Home

The home was beautiful, up to date, clean and well stocked with everything you might need. The property manager was polite and responsive to concerns we had. The home is a 3 minute drive to the beach and 13 minute walk (a bit farther than described). We arrived the first evening just as the sun was setting and decided to go right to the beach to see the sunset over the water with our children (walk was longer than expected) and we were all eaten alive by mosquitos on our walk back (my youngest daughter had over 100 bites on her legs and we all had 20+ during that short time… these mean things even bit me through my leggings). We talked to the locals about it and they said this area is really bad for mosquitos this year so we were not able to be outside after the sun went down (even with bug spray, thermacells, and electric mosquito machine plugged in). The home was lovely, the air conditioning was great because we came during a super hot week, beds were comfortable, beach chairs were appreciated, home was spotless.

Thank you, Barbara, for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. Everything was just as wonderful as the pictures suggested and even better. Although we had a leak in the roof over the kitchen on the first night, Mac was over right away in the morning to take a look at it. Our family enjoyed the lovely, spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces. The kitchen was gorgeous and the cabinets were stocked full of everything you need, plus more, although we were surprised not to find a blender or a mixer. There were plenty of towels and new beach chairs. We loved the artwork as well. Everything was clean and new. The fireplace wasn't shown in pictures, but believe it or not, it did come in handy on a couple of the really windy and rainy days we had last week. Who would have guessed we'd need it, but it sure was cozy. The week ended up with very hot weather, perfect for our favourite beach in the world. I actually hate to let other renters know for fear of having to compete with them In the future. Maybe I should mention the killer mosquitoes. They were especially nasty last week! Everyone we spoke to agreed and the bites they left are our long-lasting souvenirs. Thanks again! We will be back! Maybe we will find the previous renters will have left a whole cupboard of groceries by mistake, just as we did. Oops! Hope the current family is enjoying dinner on us!
