This was the perfect place to host our small bachelor weekend! The house had great parking and plenty of room for 4 of us. The surrounding area had great restaurants and shops to support our stay. Mary was quick to respond to any questions we had. The dock was the perfect way to spend the day swimming, chatting with the friendly neighbors, and watching all the boats go by. Will definitely be staying here again!!

If you’re thinking about renting this charming house, do it and pull the trigger now. Spectacular all around and Mary and Will were fantastic hosts. Recommend highly!Boat house and lift were a great bonus!

Excellent for a quiet getaway!

This place was the perfect, peaceful getaway that we needed. The house was so clean, and the details were so cute. The host was very accommodating and was quick with communication.

A cozy place of rest

The place was very clean and quiet. It has excellent view through the big windows and was very pretty early in the morning for a quiet time. The property has attracted boat loading dock and it was very refreshing to have a short walk to there and enjoy the beautiful lake! Overall, our stay was very enjoyable short vacation for our couple.

Weekend At the lake

Absolutely adorable cabin that was extremely comfortable. Very relaxing, and extremely safe. Boat traffic caused minimal waves so we were able to enjoy the dock. Neighbors are friendly, and area is peaceful. The cabin has unique decor that helped the relaxing atmosphere.

Memorial Day Weekend

The cabin was as advertised. Loved the area and proximity to the lake. Was larger then expected. Boatdock was an added bonus. Had a few questions and the host was quick to reply. Had a wonderful time

Perfect Location for a get away

The picture on listing does not do the justice, the house is very nice and is located in a very quiet gated community. The host is very responsive. We were here for a vacation and family visit and it was exactly what we wanted. Strongly recommended. Will come back and stay again.

Grand Lake

We rented the property to celebrate Independence Day. The property is in a great location and very clean. I would definitely rent again. If you have small children, ask if the owner could temporally remove the delicate/breakable decor in the home.

Fabulous, Immaculately Clean Cabin

Cabin is located in a very nice, quiet, gated community. Immaculately clean. It has a log cabin feel but literally had everything you would need for your stay. Kitchen was well-equipped, bathrooms had shampoo/conditioner/body wash and even some of the commonly forgotten items (q tips, makeup wipes etc). The beds were comfy and living room was perfect for watching football and playing card games. The back deck did have chairs. We saw a beautiful orb weaver web every night on the patio. Just don’t walk into it ;)! Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet and clean

This is a nice property, clean, well-kept and very quiet (we were there for weekdays and the closest house was empty). I need to note that it is set well back (100 yards or so) from the lake. HOWEVER, the few houses closer to the lake are spread out and so still has a good view, and of course you can walk down to the dock that comes with the property. The gated community doesn't get much traffic and one feels very safe. While I gave the view 4 stars, I am giving 5 stars overall for things like a pretty well-stocked kitchen and extras like a tube of Neosporin in case of accidents!!
