We had the best vacation at Alyssa’s place on Schroon Lake. We had 8 people ranging from ages 6 to 80…everyone loved it! The beach is steps away, and the lake is lovely…Perfect for kayaking. We walked into town multiple times, with great eateries and stores to visit. The house is fully stocked with everything you need, including beach chairs, towels and kayaks. If you love the ADKs, you’ll love this spot.

My family enjoyed this home! Great location, close to town, and steps away from the water. This house was well stocked and had some nice items for the kids, puzzles, life vests, J &J shampoo etc. Thanks Alyssa!

Great location & amazing stay!

We had an amazing stay, it’s the perfect location to enjoy Schroon Lake. The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable we felt right at home. Alyssa was also a great host and answered all of our questions promptly and made checking in easy. Already booked in again and looking forward to returning next year!

Week at Schroon Lake

We spent 6 days at the cottage. It was smaller than it looked in the photos. It says it sleeps 10 but I think that would be awfully tight. The place was very clean, beds were comfortable. The host was easily available by text. It was a very humid week which made sleeping uncomfortable. The 2 children enjoyed the loft and the beach. The screened porch was a plus until it rained heavily since there were no windows to close. The cottage would be a lovely place to stay in the cooler months of Autumn

Lake Schroon Vacation

The house was very comfortable and the views of the lake were beautiful. The weather was perfect, cool in the morning but warmed up during the day. The only minor issue was that there was a misunderstanding with the TV. A TV is provided but no cable hookup. One must use your own streaming service to watch TV. We did not have a subscription for a streaming service. The owner offered to get us a subscription to Netflix but we declined.

Family lake/fishing trip!

Home is in a great location on the lake and is Walking distance to town and several restaurants, convenient stores, town beach, playground, mini golf, and other activities at The Lodge which is open to the public. Kids loved fishing right off the dock, and playing on the beach. Home is very nice, clean, and in a great community with great neighbors. We had 4 adults and 3 children (ages 11months- 9yo), which we found to just fit us all. Some nights were tough to sleep just being so hot and no cool air conditioning downstairs. There is an a/c unit upstairs. Would have given home 5 stars if had cool air conditioning throughout. Our stay was in late August so cool nights helped sleep when there was a good breeze. We had an issue with one of the breakers constantly blowing when we used the microwave. Luckily switch board was easily accessible to fix but made heating any food up a pain at times.Overall we loved our stay, and would definitely stay again!
