Home was perfect for our needs. Room to sleep 5 of us comfortably, kitchen had what we needed, house was clean, 2 full bathrooms made it easy for us to all get ready.

Very clean well kept home. Wonderful place to stay! Host was very quick to respond to messages. Our only complaint is that not all of the bedroom windows had shades. They had curtains, but we all prefer a darker room to sleep. Also the upstairs bathroom only had a half curtain with no shade, privacy concern.

Roomy, Clean & Comfortable!

Roomy, clean and comfortable! The only drawback is the second-level access; the stairs are narrow and steep.

Thank you for your review. I agree - the stairs are steep, but there is no way we can change them, unfortunately. We do have handrails on each side to help people ascend and descend safely.

Great place with lots of space

Our family stayed here for a long weekend in Aroostook County. The home was extremely clean and spacious. Our kids enjoyed having their own space and we loved having a quiet place for some family time. We highly recommend renting with E & J!

Repeat visit

This is the second time we have stayed at this location and it did not disappoint. We love the house layout and location. Super clean and well maintained. Owners work to make sure you are comfortable and all needs are responsibly met.

Ellen was so kind to help with entry instructions! Very nice home and well kept! Great kitchen! Nice bathroom and kitchen 'supplies'. Seemed almost like home. Thanks for having a Bible in the house as I had somehow left mine at home and I really needed it!. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely look up Ellen's place!

Kitchen was awesome, getting code to kitchen door key was a bit of a hassle

So sorry you had difficulty with the lockbox for the key. The information was supposed to have been sent to you by VRBO before you arrived so we will definitely check on that to be sure it doesn't happen again.

Beautiful stay in Downtown Caribou

The home was so lovely! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots and pans and silverware you could need. The beds were very comfy and 2 out of 4 bedrooms had AC units for the summer. My great uncle, dad, sister, and I sat in the living room each night talking. The hosts were very responsive and kind! To make it even better, there’s a dunkin just a quick 2 minute walk down the road! Can’t wait to book this home again next year!

Nice place

Was in town for sons graduation. Didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but it had everything we needed. It was my wife and I first time to Maine so we had a lot of surprises. No AC as being one of them. The first evening was a bit warm, but the rest of the stay it cooled down quite a bit so it wasn’t an issue. We also saw a couple black bears in Washburn, which was really cool. Very affordable place to stay if you are looking for a remote getaway. Definitely recommended.

Thank you for your review, Sal. We had just installed the A/C window unit on the day of your arrival and it may not have had enough time to cool down the entire space. It felt very comfortable to me but I apologize for any discomfort you experienced. Glad you saw some Maine wildlife. Come visit again! Ellen
