Legacy Villa Spring 2024

The Villa is lovely and the descriptions are very accurate. Also, we enjoyed how well it was stocked. The grounds are beautiful and the location is great for us (we have a car for getting around). The communication with the host is very timely and clear. We highly recommend the Villa and look forward to our next stay! Dave

Amazing condo complex!

My husband, kids, and I stayed at this condo in February 2024. The condo is a top floor unit, and the stairs only led to this unit which made it feel much safer. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials, and there were even a few treats in the freezer. The beds in all the rooms were amazingly soft and cozy. We loved all the different pools and especially that they were heated in February. The complex itself is beautifully landscaped. It was only a quick walk to the La Quinta resort for dinner. Overall a great place and we plan on staying here again.

Fantastic Stay in La Quinta!

This was the perfect stay for us! Great location and love the 3 full bathrooms. Communication with the owner was clear and check in / check out was a breeze. We will be back next year!

Fun in the Desert

What a great place to visit when it is Very cold and snowy in other parts of the country. If you like golf, tennis, pickleball, hiking, relaxing this is a great place. We had a few glitches but the manager (Skip) was excellent in getting them repaired, we even received a new refrigerator 3 days before Christmas - amazing service. The Condo was comfortable and plenty large for 5 adults and a toddler. The balcony is very toddler friendly. The amenities (pool, fitness center... ) are very nicely kept and not too busy. The entire complex is clean and well landscaped. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Desert Paradise

Our vacation at Legacy Villas was absolutely wonderful. The condo is so spacious, clean, and inviting. We loved the outdoor balconies, comfy couches, and fully stocked kitchen. The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed having so many options for pools. The gym and trail around the property are fantastic. This is a beautiful desert rental and we will be back!

Escaping the Kansas Winter

What a wonderful place to escape the Midwest winter! Centrally located near Palm Desert and Palm Springs, it’s the perfect get away. The unit is amazing with so much space and having 2 king suites was perfect to travel with friends. The kitchen was fully stocked and having laundry in the unit was such a help! The balconies were so beautiful, we spent so much time out there. Parking was always available in a non designated space. The unit is in a prime location of the resort just a very short walk to the wonderful pool and hammock garden. We had a small issue with being able to check in as the resort had our dates wrong, but the issue was quickly fixed. (Thanks Skip!) This was our first visit to the LaQuinta area, and we will definitely be back! Thank you for having us!

Welcoming 2023 in Palm Spring

Short Stay, Perfect Set Up

Love Legacy Villa, this unit was perfect for our stay, close to the pool and La Quinta resort. Condo was well stocked and had everything we needed. Property manager was very responsive, will stay here again.

Resort experience

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing vacation with our newborn and this experience exceeded our expectations. We stayed for a week and would highly recommend the experience to our family and friends. Skip was great with communication, the unit was well stocked, the grounds and pool were immaculate, and the furniture was a perfect fit for the space.

Excellent

The unit and property amenities at Legacy Villas were better than expected. On previous visits to La Quinta we have stayed in a single family residence so I wasn't certain how I would feel about shared pools and facilities. The grounds were beautiful, we were never without a pool to go to and relax. Since we were a group of adults we never tried the main pool but enjoyed several of the satellite pools also the hammock garden and the chairs at the outdoor fireplace. The grill located onsite was good, hopefully as things return to normal the operating hours at the grill will be extended. Thank you for your hospitality our stay exceeded our expectations and we hope to return again.

Buddies Golf Trip

Well-maintained, lovely property with a nice view of the mountains. A very convenient location with a short drive to Old Town La Quinta and many restaurants. Plenty of room for the three of us, nice kitchen and eating areas. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the sun disappear behind the mountains nearby. Really wished we had more time to spend at the property. Would have used the workout room and pool more extensively.

Very nice property

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location in La Quinta. Nice pools and hot tubs. Gated community with 24 hour guard. 5 minute drive to Old Town La Quinta. Lots of nearby restaurants and golf courses. Villa spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 with en-suite bathrooms. 2 balconies with outdoor seating. Well-appointed full kitchen. King beds comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location and property. While VRBO clearly states “upstairs unit”, the stairs are many; this property is NOT intended for anyone with a physical disability and/or older folks with heavy luggage.

Great Family-friendly Desert Stay

The wife and I brought the family here for Memorial Day weekend and it couldn't have been better! The property was super clean and had everything we needed. The main pool was amazing and great for all ages. Free cabanas if you score one. Short drive to restaurant and shopping. Highly recommend and will likely be back!

Beautiful community located just at the ends of the mountains

Property was as stated, clean, and communication with mgr Skip was excellent, quick and thorough. We hadn't been to La Quinta before (usually downtown PS) and much liked this area better as newer, updated, from the property to the streets/neighborhood. Approx 1 mile from Old Town La Quinta with great restaurants, shopping. Next time we won't buy so many groceries. The place really felt homey, beds were comfortable and the unit has 3 separate powerful AC's for different rooms, so we could all control to our own comfort. All the basics were there like paper towels, beach towels, TP, S&P, laundry/dish soap/hand soap. And it was 108 one day so we needed that AC! Beautifully landsacaped and maintained property, colorful. We were there Tues-Sunday. It was scary quiet until Friday afternoon (to be expected) and the main pool went from 12 people in it (cabana of your choice at no charge) to over capacity on Saturday (75 in the large pool) and a security guard controlling this, encouraging only 2 hours stay in main pool and not to go in/out at risk of losing your spot. Lots got turned away which then maxed out the 11 other smaller pools (so we were told) but they kept a list and called people once space was available. Masks not required at the pool while sunbathing but encouraged if unable to social distance anywhere on the property or in the larger pool bathrooms. Cafe opened at the pool for the weekend with a large inexpensive menu from 8-1:30. Food was better than good for the price. Lots of kids and families on the weekend and a louder bunch outside our window after 10 (quite hours) that I had wished I had told to shush. Lastly, we had wanted to be close to the main pool and were misled by the Google earth map. It looked like we were three large buildings down from the pool but it was literally a 1 min walk. Had we wanted to stay at the further units (townhouses with 2 car garage and backyard at the mountain ridge) we could have gotten to the main pool in no time. Overall, we had a great time and would go back again, but maybe not on the weekend as we really just wanted to the pool time.
