Three of us girls enjoyed the wildlife each morning and afternoon while staying at this remote south shore spot. What a beautiful little place-we even prepared meals in the kitchen overlooking the water and everything we needed was in the cottage. I needed to contact the host at one point for help with the grill and they were right there with answers and assistance-AWESOME. It was a short drive to Shelbourne where the community is lovely. This was a warm stay where the quiet area provided a relaxing and cozy backdrop to our time together as a family.

We absolutely loved our stay at Seaside Serenity! Everything was perfect - from the comfortable beds, upscale appliances, amenities, well stocked kitchen, bedside phone chargers, charming decor to the location, view from our backyard, and communication with the host. We had a wonderful time exploring the beauty of Nova Scotia and loved coming home to such a warm and inviting place that felt like home. We would have enjoyed the kayaks and outdoor firepit if the weather had been a bit warmer. The host has really thought of everything to make a stay at this lovely cottage a 5 star experience. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting this part of Canada! Thank you!!

Very well stocked. Stunning remote location. Lots of attention to detail, beautiful cottage. Only thing was we found the water to not be palatable so we bought water to cook with and drink. Otherwise all was great!

While we have a whole-house filtration system in place, the water can occasionally retain a slight metallic taste due to the local water conditions. Everything was great. Very helpful hosts and a fantastic property with everything you'd need to enjoy some time away. I worked remotely from the property for much of my trip and had no issues. I would recommend this property to anyone.

The place was very clean and tidy. A beautiful renovation on an older house. Very modern. There is a king bed upstairs with a full bathroom, and a queen bed downstairs with another full bathroom. We did have some trouble getting the bathtub faucet to run, it was stuck on the shower-head. There are a few spiders here and there, but that’s to be expected in an older house in NS. The kitchen was very well stocked, pretty much everything you need for cooking. The Vrbo listing did say that the place had a hot tub, but when we got there we realized that was not the case. I let the owners know, and they were surprised that it said that and gave us a night’s refund. Beautiful view, and very peaceful.

Seaside Serenity stay

Beautiful Cottage

The cottage was very cozy and well equipped for pretty much anything you would need for your stay! Just bring yourselves and relax and enjoy. Hosts are very responsive!

Sea side visit

An amazing place to relax after exploring the south shores of Nova Scotia. Visited museum, local beaches, downtown shops and breweries. The cottage had all the amenities needed plus a great view, comfy beds and a fireplace to warm up after our outdoor excursions.

Shelburne Sea Cottage

Had a wonderful time in this beautifully updated property. Any questions we had were quickly responded to and communication with the owner was a breeze. Highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay there again.

The property was very clean and accommodating. We enjoyed your welcome book as it had everything we needed to know about the property as well as information on restaurants, attractions, etc. The kitchen was well equipped, it had everything except a chef. We would recommend this property to anyone!!

Weekend Getaway

Kelly and Ely thought of pretty much everything. Great weekend with great friends. Close to several beaches which is what we were looking for.

Quick stopover

Great little cottage, well appointed and clean. Owners didn’t forget a thing when designing and stocking the cottage. Fit my family of 5 perfectly.

Host was super communicative and always gracious about welcoming us. Snack basket on arrival, bath robes, beach towels. Well appointed home. We loved our stay here on NS.

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at Seaside Serenity. Quiet area, clean, tons of thoughtful amenities, comfy beds, and a fully equipped kitchen. . Water pressure was an issue, (area dealing with major drought). We had issue first night and host was very quick to address the situation.Beautiful morning sunrises!!

This was our second stop on an 11 Day Rd. trip. The cottage was beautiful. I don’t think I realized how remote the area was. We had had fun, kayaking and exploring remote beaches.
