About this space
Our apartment is in an older, urban, residential neighborhood of Fort Worth. The apartment is spacious, clean, and bright; hardwood floors throughout. We have gone to great lengths to provide modern conveniences, and 5 star amenities, in a vintage setting. The large balcony provides a panoramic view of a family-friendly neighborhood park. We are close to TCU, outstanding Magnolia Ave restaurants, Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth, premiere hospitals, and three world class museums.
The space
Originally built in 1918, our apartment building has been tastefully renovated to offer modern conveniences in an historical setting. We have two apartments on the ground floor that are leased to year-round tenants. This apartment is on the second floor of the two story building. There is approximately 700 square feet of living space: living room, dining room, bedroom, walk-in closet, fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom with vintage tub. Lots of windows - sunny and bright - with great views of Capp's Park. Original hardwood floors and trim. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. We have been granted a Certificate of Occupancy by the city of Fort Worth. A certificate of occupancy is a document issued by the local government agency or building department certifying a building's compliance with applicable building codes and other laws.
Guest access
There is a free laundry facility on the first floor of the building, that is available to all our tenants and guests. Parking on the street is close, safe, and there's plenty of space.
Other things to note
I'm writing this additional note out of concerns about the Corona Virus and the Delta Variant.
We are all uneasy about this pandemic. 2020 was a very challenging year and there is still hesitancy when it comes to travel. Maile and I want to make it very clear that we are following the Center for Disease Control instructions for keeping surfaces clean and safe. We remain open for all travelers. We would love to be your hosts if you choose to visit Fort Worth.

Additional amenities:
1) While we are not, strictly speaking, a bed and breakfast operation, we do provide the following: French Roast coffee with two types of coffee makers (pour over and press); a variety of teas, both herbal and black; creamer; filtered water; and instant breakfast oatmeal.
2) 100% cotton sheets and towels. For guests staying one week or longer, fresh bed linens are available if desired.
3) Iron and ironing board.
4) Washer/dryer in secured area.
5) Hair dryer.
6) Free Wifi and a smart tv offering Uverse TV channels, as well as, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, PBS, and Pandora.
7) White noise device in bedroom.
8) Plenty of convenient parking in front.
