Great stay for the family reunion

It was a great place for our family reunion. We had a blast. We were close to every snow/ski adventure, so it was nice. We will be back again in the future for sure!

Extremely wonderful host. Great place. Very welcoming. Spacious, lots of bathrooms, foosball, pool, table tennis. Fun for kids and adults.

This was a perfect place for our extended family to stay. They're was plant to do for all ages, little of room to separate out so since could be noisy and others could be quiet. Close to restaurants and other outdoor activities

Second time we've used this property for our organization's annual retreat, with 40 people. It's just about perfect. Not great for people who struggle with stairs, but otherwise it is a great place.

Great stay. Perfect for large group retreat.

We brought 40 people and had a great time. Space was perfect with multiple units with separate kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms. Worked beautifully for us. John was a breeze to work with.

Great place Great Location and Huge

Five separate families, multiple werw three generations. Everyone with their private place, but amazing group room for everyone to meet up in. Right in town, sledding on the street next door, general store two blocks away. Perfect christmas gathering place.

Fantastic Stay

Awesome unit that was absolutely perfect for our experience and use. Lots of room, the game area was a hit with our group and incredibly convienient location. The unit manager/owner was incredibly helpful with communication. Hoping to come back next year!

Great location

The owner was great to communicate with, location was perfect, house set up was good. The kitchens did not have adequate utensils or dish-ware for the amount of people in the house.

Quiet Perfect Location

We are a hiking group of 16 that stayed here for a week. Location was perfect to access the surrounding day hikes. Lots of parking in front of the lodge. We walked to restaurants in the evening for dinner. Beds were comfortable and apartments were spacious so we could spread out and relax after a day of hiking. Group loved gathering in the the hot tubs after hiking. John was great to work with, very responsive and kind. Great space for groups.Thanks John.

Perfect group getaway

We were 3 families with teenagers + their friends. There was plenty of space for each group to have chill time. We all enjoyed the game room and large living room on the ground floor and had group dinners, games and movies down there. Easy walk to restaurants and the little grocery store. We all walked to Cosmic Tubing at Ski Bowl East and had a blast. Short drives to Meadows and Timberline (or shuttle) for skiing/snowboarding. Beautiful snowshoe and cross country trails from the Nordic center for us non-downhillers. All 5 units were super clean. Hot tubs too. Super organized throughout and great communication from John. Loved this place!

Great Location

There were some good things about the lodge and some bad things, but overall it was a great spot and we would stay again. Pros: perfect location and size, best donuts around at Huckleberry Inn, free sledding just up the road, multiple beds in each room, 2 hot tub's at perfect temp, full kitchen in each unit with sufficient amout of dishes, washer and dryer in each unit, large bathrooms, and game room equipped with pool table, ping pong, foosball, TV, and sound system that connects to your devices along with extra tables and chairs. Everything is labeled to as to how to use or what not to do. Cons: couldn't get the keys unlocked for back units so had to walk through front units to get in, microwave in main floor unit didn't heat, hot water didn't work in that kitchen sink either, coffee pots look like they've never been cleaned, dishes in all units not very clean, dishwashers ancient and don't clean well, dryers take 3 cycles to dry, door between 2 &3 unit didn't shut all the way or lock, building not very sound proof - we could hear every little noise, laundry was left in main washer, overall cleanliness not very good, but I guess would depend on who stayed prior. We brought our own bleach wipes and they were brown after we used them. We also had stuff stolen out of one of our vehicles while we were there and the guy came back and tried a second time, but luckily we caught him before he did and he took off, a police report was made with no luck so far. If you're not a clean freak and don't mind hearing those around you this is a great spot. You can't beat the location and size!

Fantastic Team Offsite

The Boardwalk was a perfect location for us to host our first offsite since the pandemic. Each unit was well stocked and the game room allowed for great discussions. The units allowed folks to have some space apart and in small groups and the proximity to the town of government camp and all the wonderful hiking trails allowed us all to get outside together highly recommend!

Great experience

This property is awesome for large groups! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it’s great to have multiple kitchens and bathrooms. Owner was very easy to work with. I love that he encourages recycling!

Great Family Reunion

John was great throughout the process. He was very accommodating and very prompt in his communication. We had a family reunion with 33 people of all ages and the property worked out very well. It was nice for individual families to have their own space, but still have enough common areas for group meals and games. There was a constant rotation of people using the pool table, ping pong table, and foosball table. We were there during a heat wave, but we were able keep the property cool even though it didn’t have AC. John was very helpful with his explanation of how to keep it cool, and provided multiple box fans to help the process. The location was excellent. We enjoyed the Magic Mile at Timberline, hiking to Mirror Lake, alpine slides at SkiBowl, and lots of time cooling off at Trillium Lake. All in all, we had a great family reunion! Thanks John!!!

Great for larger groups

We had a great stay with our extended family. It worked well for four families with kids. Each family had plenty of space and privacy while the game room was awesome for all the kids and adults to be together and have fun. We highly recommend this property.
